This is such a great place. The owners are warm, welcoming and helpful. It's in a beautiful location with lots to do nearby and plenty of walking trails. It is so well kept and peaceful. We are already planning our next visit to Ham Farm
A little slice of heaven (even in the rain!)
What can I say apart from a huge THANK YOU to Phillip and wife for having myself and my family share you little piece of Somerset paradise. We have just returned home from what has possibly been one of the wettest periods of time in Somerset history!!! Yet we were still welcomed with a smile and all the help possible (tractor and extra leads included) to get us on site and settled in. Phil spent time filling us in with all the local information and good spots to visit. along with an os map for us to use during our stay with pinpointed extras. The water fall walk from the site is particularly stunning and we'll worth checking out. could've spent the day there with the children had weather been kinder. Endless things and do locally. We filled the 9 days we were there with ease and didnt travel more than 30 mins for site.
The site it's self is stupendous and was such a treat to stay at. the little stream that runs along side it is idyllic and even though cold the kids couldn't resist a paddle. Phil even gave us a few pooh sticks to play with which was excellent Fun! Can't wait to come back when weather is kinder and thanks again to you both for letting us share it with you I know the children and I have made memories that will last a life time whilst being there ♡
Wonderful
We visited in April for 3 nights. We cannot fault this site. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who explained where everthing was and as we were the only caravan there we were able to choose our pitch. The CL is beautifully kept, looking onto a small stream. Once we had pitched the owner called by to check that every thing was ok and also lent us a o/s map showing nearby food serving pubs and cycle routes marked. We had a great 3 nights there - if only all sites were the same - thank you Phill, we hope to visit again.
Faultless
If you want noise and hassle forget this site, if you want peace, the sound of birds and space, then this is the place for you. Easy stroll to pubs, and a welcome from the owner as I have never known before. The site is immaculate.

A hidden gem
This is now one of our favourite CLs and is everything other reviewers have said, complete with grey wagtails and jays strutting round in front of the caravan. For dog owners there are wonderful walks straight from the site and a lovely river for them to play in (and wash muddy paws) complete with sand beach. We were there in very muddy weather and the pitch and site held up extremely well, hard standings are certainly not needed and it would be a shame to spoil the beauty of the field with them. There are several good (and dog friendly) pubs nearby. We would not have thought of staying in this area had we not been going to an event at the Bath and West show ground but we are so glad we did. Wells makes an excellent day out and there are fantastic walks all around. There was some noise from a nearby works on a couple of occasions but over a 5 night stay we only heard it twice. We look forward to our next visit.

One of the best
Stayed for 4 nights early May. Very easy to find and approach roads excellent. Lovely friendly welcome and lots of helpful information. Lots of room on flat grass pitch which despite torrential rain remained firm. We hardly noticed any noise from the wind turbine at rear of site. Water and waste facilities were well placed and ideal. There are lots of animals on the farm so would be ideal for children. The location of the site if perfect for visiting Shepton Mallet, Wells, Cheddar and many other Somerset attractions. This has got to be one the cheapest and best sites around.
Heaven
Everything that has been already written is true. We spent three days there on the way back from Wales and visited family .they could not be more helpful.its an ideal spot and Phils maps had all the best pubs marked. Will def be back. Only thing to say is you are very cheap.

Swallows Haven
What a fantastic site, in a truly beautiful location. Both Phil & Bridget made us extremely welcome loaning us walking maps and making sure we were ok. This has to be one the best cl sites we have been on for walks with wildlife galore. We will definitely be back with jake the spaniel in tow.

Lovely site, great location
This site is peaceful and set in beautiful countryside with 66 local footpaths and numerous places of interest within easy travelling distance. The Mells stream, a pretty gentle river runs along the edge of the site. Close to the site are three Somerset Wildlife Trust sites: Edford meadows with a wide variety of wild flowers including orchids in spring, Edford Wood with wonderful bluebells in May and Harridge Wood. Well kept site in a lovely meadow with friendly, helpful owners.
