Lovely small quiet site

A lovely small quiet site of just about five places. It's surrounded by countryside, with a cafe next door. Andy the owner is very friendly and helpful. The site is an ideal base for visiting Lancaster, Forest of Bowland and other lovely sightseeing places. There is a canal cruise which was five minutes away from the site and also visited Barton Grange which has a large garden centre plus opposite a cinema, bowling alley plus restaurants. If you want cleanliness and peace this site is worth a visit.

Little gem of a CL site

Had a 2 night stay at Moss lane owners very welcoming ! Loved the peace& quiet site was well kept ! Will definitely go back

Brilliant CL

We recently stayed here for 5 nights. This is an excellent CL site, possibly the best we've stayed at. The site is easy to find with good access. The pre-arrival instructions were really helpful and it was easy to pitch on a vacant plot. Andy came round to see us later and we had a good chat, he was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent, 16A electrics and water on each pitch along with close access to grey water, toilet emptying and recycling bins made for an easy stay. The toilet and shower were immaculate with plenty of hot water for the shower. (The shower and toilet was on the other side of the owners house which involves a very short walk along the road - this wasn't a problem for us). Both have ramped access but no handrails etc for those with disabilities. Free Wifi was a bonus, although you did need to keep logging in, but very good signal. There's lots to see in the area and access to the Fylde coast, Lake District, Trough of Bowland and west Yorkshire Dales is great. We had a lovely relaxing stay on the peaceful country surroundings. I'm sure we'll be back soon.

A really lovely CL beautifully kept, easy booking, fantastic pre arrival information and very friendly owners. Lovely little cafe on site.This was our fourth visit & will definitely return. Thank you Andy

Excellent CL

A really lovely CL beautifully kept, easy booking, fantastic pre arrival information and very friendly owners. Lovely little cafe on site with the most wonderful cakes! This was our first visit but will definitely return. Thank you Andy.

First time but not the last

The site was well set out with water on every pitch all hard standing plenty of room in between vans worm welcome from owner dog walk on site small field where you could let the dogs off the lead the grass was a bit on the long side fore our dogs as there Chihuahuas but larger dogs would be fine. We whee there visiting family so didn't spend much time on the site but would definitely stay there again without a doubt 100%

Lovely Stay

We found it easy to book on the new CL App. We where well informed by the owners about our arrival procedure. We were welcomed by the owner. We were too late for the café unfortunately. Lovey clean site, will definitely call again.

First trip out this year

For our first trip of the season, we like to go within a short radius from home. The CL we usually use has now closed, the owners have retired. Moss Lane Farm didn’t disappoint, it was an excellent alternative. The weather was rubbish, the Caravan had problems and the owner called a caravan mechanic to help. Despite all this, we enjoyed our stay, and we were pleasantly surprised when we realised there was a small cafe on site, which was a big bonus. Ups and downs with the caravan, but no issues with this lovely site.

Perfect

Moss Lane CL is immaculate, well laid out with very spacious pitches. Each pitch has its own water tap & meter to monitor electricity consumption. The waste & recycling facilities are a short distance away. The toilet & shower facilities are a bonus too. As is the adjacent dog exercise field. The location is great with lovely countryside scenery. We didn’t get chance to use the little cafe but it looked very inviting. We will definitely be back. The booking arrangements were very efficient too as was the communication with the owner.

Lovely little site

Fantastic, clean and level little site. Really easy to get to and from, a short hop from the motorway yet completely rural. Village and other amenities within walking distance of about 1 mile in each direction. Really friendly and helpful owners. Great for dog owners with a small secure field next to the pitches and a larger field also available.
