Relaxing break in Ilkley.
Very good directions which make this CL very easy to find and although on a very busy main road, no problems with traffic when entering or leaving. Traffic noise did not bother us, we honestly did not notice it. Hardstandings were good and level with great views across the river of the surrounding hills and countryside.
An easy walk along the river to Ilkley which is a lovely small town with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. I can recommend The Flying Duck, good ales and food. If you want a visit to Leeds, the train is a great option with regular return services.
Overall a very enjoyable 3 days at Hall Croft and would certainly recommend a visit to this very well kept site.
