Fabulous welcome at a lovely site
We received a very warm and helpful welcome at this peaceful site close to Durham. Our hosts couldn't have done more.
Very well maintained and clean toilet & shower.
Reasonably flat pitches.
Some traffic on the neighbouring road during the day, but none at night.
Close to Durham - but we wouldn't recommend the cycle into Durham via Hett Mill & Shincliffe unless you enjoy off road cycling. We believe the nearest bus is 1 mile away - but Tom & Mark would confirm.
