Beautiful site highly recommended

Lovely site with good sized and level pitches and wonderful South facing views. One shower and toilet kept spotlessly clean. Nick was ever so friendly and helpful, a mine of hints, tips and local knowledge. He even kindly brought us logs for a small fire. There’s a pub just 300m away but better still, the Village Inn in West Runton is less than a half hour walk.

Lovely site

Lovely site with so many places to visit that are close by. Owners met us on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful. Easy access and own water supply was a welcome bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

great cl

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this cl and what great site it is. it is located just a few minutes drive from both Sheringham and Cromer which have good supermarket and lots to see in both towns. the site is level and plenty of space between vans, the owner was very friendly. A week was not long enough so we will be back soon and hope to stay on this site. Many thanks.

Brilliant little site!

We were welcomed by Nick & Sherry and Nick helped us to site the caravan and helped us before we left after a lovely 8 day stay. This is a lovely site, sheltered by hedges and trees, enhanced by pots of flowers, and each pitch has its own water tap, light, and EHU.. It is very handy for all amenities, supermarkets, garage, pub, coast, and the Broads. Nick has an amazing fund of local knowledge, which he is happy to share on a daily basis and nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely 8 day stay - and even the weather was kind. Thanks again for everything.

Close to places of interest and Norfolk beaches.

This site is set in a half acre area behind the very friendly owner’s house who makes great effort to welcome guests and offer as much guidance and help that he can, The site is surrounded by trees on the main A148 road to / from Cromer. Unfortunately, when we were there not all the other guests were leaving the toilet emptying area clean with the hose provided for flushing after emptying their toilet which left it rather unpleasant for the next person. There is a shower and toilet but not all guests were leaving that clean after use either and overall it was not to good standard of cleanliness. There’s no pavement along the A148, on the site’s side of the road for safe walking from the site with dogs. The road has to be crossed and it can get very busy during the day and at rush hour. We did like how close it was to places of interest and the beach though, so much to do within a short drive away,

Comment from the Club

Thank you for the review and we are delighted that you found the owner's friendly and welcoming. They have been in touch to advise if you had advised them of the issue with members not leaving the facilities clean they would have rectified it straightaway. If you stay again and this is an issue please let them know and they will be more than happy to help.

Lovely Friendly Site

Just back from a 12 nights stay at this lovely welcoming site. On arriving we were met by the very friendly and informative owner Nick, who helpfully gave us compass points and told us we could pitch in our preferred direction. Pitches are well spaced. The site is very dog friendly and we were given a wealth of information regarding the local area. There’s a good pub/restaurant with excellent food about a 5 minute walk away. The beer garden welcomes dogs. This site is in an ideal position to reach the stunning North Norfolk coast with Sheringham and Cromer on your doorstep. West Runton and East Runton beaches are great for dogs with the latter offering 30 mins parking for 60p if you just want a quick walk. Further south are some beautiful beaches, all with good size dog friendly areas. We particularly liked Walcott with its large Sandy beach and a first class fish and chip shop on the sea front. Thanks for the recommendation Nick. There is some road noise but it really didn’t bother us. Would we stay again? Most definitely. We loved the area and the CL. Thank you

A jewel in the crown

What a wonderful CL. Ease of access, proximity to a local supermarket and plenty of places to visit, a wonderfully welcoming site owner, a shower and toilet, and all set in a beautifully maintained lawned area, on hard standings. Cannot recommend this CL highly enough.

Fab little site

First time here and what a lovely little place. Very welcoming owners Nick and Sherry, In between Cromer & Sheringham so perfect for the coast. There is a main road outside but to be honest we didn’t notice any traffic noise it just makes it easier to access the site. Will definitely be returning.
