Great C.L.

Just spent two weekends at this very friendly cl. The couple who run it were very welcoming. As others have already said there is some road noise from the motorway near by. After a short time you get used to it. We will definitely be returning in the future. It took us about 20 minutes to walk into Leyland center. There is also a nice Indian restaurant just 5 minute walk from the cl.

Friendly, good location

Very friendly and welcoming, site is easy to access leyland town, preston or chorley close to motorway, some nice pubs that serve food a short walk away and leyland town center in walking distance. Certainly cant complain for the price.

Perfect M6 stopover

Within 1 mile of M6 motorway so perfect for a night (or more) stopover. There is a 'hum' of traffic noise but certainly not intrusive. We enjoyed a long weekend stay at the begining of May and found the facilities to be excellent and the space between caravans to be very acceptable. We incorporated a visit to the Leyland Museum of Commercial Transport which was well worth the visit. Extremely helpful and friendly owners, and we will definitely make a return visit.

Quick stopover, too noisy for a long stay.

The owners are helpful and friendly.  There are several hard-standing pitches for motorhomes.  When we stayed the grassy areas between the hard-standings were too wet for vehicles. The M6 is within view and hearing!  The busy A49 is even closer and also noisy. Nice people, nicely kept CL, just too noisy for us.
