Pleasantly surprised.
The e-mails prior to arriving made me feel nervous......it was the most expensive site we had stayed at, we had to stay at least 2 nights and had to pay £40 deposit.
There are 2 sites, one grass and one hard standing.We had booked a grass pitch. You have to go onto the site to find your name on the notice board. We found our name on the hard standing site.....There was one grass pitch on the hard standing area.
Peter arrived later in the day and then everything changed. He was friendly, informed us where everything was and gave us good tips on walks and places to visit.
Each pitch had a tap and electric. Elsan point discreetly out of the way. The site is concerned about recycling too. The site was well maintained.
We had a lovely 5 day stay watching green woodpeckers and baby rabbits.
Would love to stay again.
