We'll be back
Great vista across to the North York Moors and the Hambleton Hills. The site has a tarmac track leading into it, so no problems with muddy tracks. The owners were very friendly and keep the site and the toilet immaculate. There is a slight slope to the site, but we were able to level a twin axle 'van across the slope without any problem.
It's a good centre to tour from. We visited Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal one day and Brimham Rocks the other.
There was a little road noise, but not overnight.
We felt the local pub was a bit expensive (£8.95 for take away fish and chips) but found a great chippie in Ripon for around half of that!
Definitely one we'll return to.
