Welsh Gem in the crown of Anglesey
Its hard to book a site with no reviews as you might not know what your getting into! So when I booked this site and found out it was NEW and I was the first booking I had my fingers crossed. Should I have worried ? NO. From the moment I turned off the A55 in Holyhead and followed the directions in to Gorsgoch I just knew my wife and I were on our way to a great holiday. A few minutes later we turned on to one of the best kept sites we have ever visited. Easy access off the road through big double gates on to a well mown field. Lots of room to pitch with good space between other pitches. Very warm welcome from the owners who pointed out where all the amenities were. Chemical disposal point has to rate a 10/10. The offer of fresh eggs to buy was taken up and even picking fresh mushrooms for breakfast was pointed out. We are keen walkers, so local maps were provided with great walks (we did them all) The views from this site were stunning looking out to sea and South Stack lighthouse and as the sun went down the sunset was amazing. This is a quiet site but that's what we like, even so it is only a couple of miles to the local shops restaurants & amenities . Its always a dilemma whether or not to pass on a gem of a site to other members, but to keep this to my self would be so cruel.... my fellow members so need to know about Gorsgoch. Thanks for a great stay we wish you every success, your hard work is a credit to you. We WILL be back.
N.B. Google maps does not always put the site marker in the correct spot, it must be a post code thing !!!! Gorsgoch is about 200m to the left of the marker. Its well signposted.
