Ease of arrival/welcome

Excellent quiet site, Brenda and Glynn are most welcoming

We enjoyed this quiet peaceful field in early August, set in the hilly countryside near to St.Clears. A convenient place to shop with several small supermarkets stocking everything one needs, a butchers and other shops worth a visit to buy those forgotten items. Lovely country walks, with most places very easy to travel to from here. We stayed for two nights on our touring holiday of Southern Wales, we decided we would return on our way home but unfortunately the stormy weather set in so this was not possible; although we have planned to return in the Autumn at some point. We were quite taken with the unspoilt atmosphere of the area. Brenda and Glynn are most welcoming and manage the site well, very clean, electric hook ups available, reasonable pitch fees, lighting at night. The farm dogs are friendly and well trained. We would definitely recommend this site and a visit to the Boat House where Dylan Thomas spent some time; fantastic views of the Bay, a very relaxing start to our touring holiday. Visited the National Trust property at Colby, a beautiful garden and a time when the blue hydrangeas were stunning in the sun light. Will long to visit this part of Wales again.
