NICE OVERNIGHT STAY

Stayed for 1 night. Owner gave great directions when booking as not to follow Sat Nav. Lovely welcome by owner. This site has good access and nice level pitches. Great if you have a dog as a nice big field to exercise dog. Next to the A road but honestly no noise at night (my partner is a very light sleeper & didn’t hear any road noise). Excellent rubbish/recycling bins all clearly marked and excellent water/elson facilities. Would definitely recommend this site.

Absolute little gem of a site

Lovely little site with choice of pitches so able to choose where you set up. Easy access from the A40 and nearby to several interesting places to visit. Friendly lady owner of the site came daily for a little chat which made us feel very welcome and comfortable on site and we were lucky enough to get to be friends with Morgan who is gorgeous (our reactive dog Finn agreed 🥰) We will definitely be back for another visit.

A very pleasant site

We used this site for just one night as we wanted to visit Langharne on our way further into Wales. It was easy to find, and despite being just off the A40 there is very little road noise. Peasant outlook onto fields. Although grass pitches, it seems well drained and we had no problem with our PVC. There are a variety of pitches to choose - although not all are level. We met the owner who was very friendly. Fees are now £18. A very pleasant site.

A wonderful CL in a wonderful part of the country

This is our fist visit to this site and we were pleased that we had chosen it. It is easy to find being directly off the A40, so no narrow lanes to negotiate. Brenda was really welcoming and you could tell that the owners wanted to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The CL itself is spacious, flat and well kept. A nice touch is the gazebo over the water point which came in handy as the weather during our visit included regular downpours. Despite the rain the ground drained well so there were no issues with getting in and out of the field. Thanks for a wonderful stay - if we return to this part of the world we will definitely book again.

A wonderful place to stay

We have recently visited Gors Farm and it is now going to become our favourite place to stay. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The facilities are good, even providing a croquet set for our amusement. There are to fields adjacent to the pitches for our dog to have a good run. A very peaceful and relaxed place to stay close to the beautiful Carmarthenshire coast. It will not be long before we are drawn back for another relaxing break.

Unexpected welcome

Although we didn't actually use this campsite, we had ran out of petrol on a layby next to the site (1am in the morning) and the owner was passing by looking for a missing caravaner. They offer us to pitch up for the night and help get petrol in the morning. We were overwhelmed with the help that was offered and would like to thank them both. We have friends in St. Clears and will use their site in future.

A regular site for us!

We come here for a few days most years, in order to visit relatives in nearby St Clears (a 20 minute walk away). The site is very well kept and spacious. Glyn and Brenda are always most welcoming and, if around at the time, will stop for a chat. We will be back again, and again, and again ....

One of our favourites

Spacious, well kept and friendly CL. Easy to get to, off the A30 and traffic noise not noticeable. Access to lovely beaches, walks and nearby pubs. A visit to Pendine beach is worthwhile, it is where the car and motorbike land speed records were made earlier in last century. Long, sandy and uncrowded. Nice little motor museum and walks. Also visit village where Dylan Thomas wrote, drank and got inspiration. The site owners are helpful and friendly. We've visited twice and will return again and again.
