Beautiful open site with gorgeous views

Lovely open field with lots of space. The owners were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous large firepit in the middle of the field. Beautiful area too with lots of places to explore. Would definitely like to return.

Friendliest welcome yet

Ideal location for exploring this area of Kent. Plenty to see and do. The site has lovely views and a great sunset. It is quiet despite a little development work in the next field. They are building glamping chalets. The local pub is good with a large garden area. We mostly had the whole field to ourselves but I expect this site to get busier as it is discovered by more members. The field is set well away from the dead end access road. We will use this site again.

Great Location

We had six nights at Gooseberry Farm. What a great location within easy reach of local beaches and amusements. A lovely open site with plenty of room and a warm welcome from Mark who made us most welcome. Will certainly return. John and Denise.

Lovely spacious site

We stayed on this lovely site on the edge of St Nicholas at Wade for three nights in July and we had the place to ourselves. The site is a new one and had everything we needed. The owner of the site is friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I can recommend this site highly and a bonus is that the village pub is just a ten minute walk away and serves lovely food.

Super site.

We stayed here for our trip to 149th Open at Sandwich (July 2021). Excellent is the best way to describe this gem of a site. Super hosts and very welcoming. Very, very secure site too. The village pub (The Bell) is first class (beers and food) and easily walkable. Can't recommend this site enough. Really lovely.

A Welcome Find

We travel to Kent a few times a year to visit friends in Herne Bay. This site is perfect for our needs and a very welcome find. Peace and quiet just bird song. Flat well kept field, beautiful sun sets. This is now our go to site in Kent. Good TV reception. Very friendly and helpful owner Mark.

lovely place

just arrived home after a lovely peaceful stay. we found the site to be everything we could have hoped for, very well maintained, beautiful surroundings and safe and secure. sufficient facilities, and most of all a very warm welcome awaited us. Mark was brilliant as we had ran out of gas on Sunday and couldn't not get one anywhere! he very kindly delivered his own gas bottle to our caravan which we are so very grateful for. Very close to many beaches seaside towns ect. and just a 10 minute walk down to the local Bell Inn which serves great food! can't fault this site and can't wait to go back!!

Hidden gem

Such a hidden gem. Tucked out the way but easily accessible, this site is so quiet and relaxing, it is the ideal place to rest, relax and recharge. A short drive to many of the local coastal areas and less than an hours easy walk to Minnis Bay and a 30 minute cycle ride to Herne Bay both through lovely countryside. The host was such a friendly helpful guy with lots of local advice and suggestions. This site is spacious, dog friendly and has level pitches. Overall this is a site that we shall easily return to and have no hesitation in recommending.
