Pleasant

A beautifully kept site with large, hardstanding pitches and plenty of space between each one. Each site has electricity and water provided at an illuminated service bollard. The information pack available at each pitch is the most comprehensive we've ever seen and provided a wealth of information on the local area. We enjoyed looking out over the paddock, which is also a nice place to walk your dog and we enjoyed a walk into Pershore. The abbey is most interesting and dog friendly to boot and there are plenty of shops and cafes There was some road noise which continued into the night - the adjacent road seemed to be quite a popular choice with 'boy racers! We also felt that the CL was expensive at £23 per night with metered electricity on top. We've stayed on many CLs over the last 3 months, and this was easily the most expensive, even compared to others with shower and toilet facilities.

Our favourite CL ....

With an ageing dog, it was lovely to find this CL with so many easy walks from site in beautiful surroundings - down to the river, pleasant walk into Pershore etc. Emily gave us a lovely warm welcome and provides loads of information about the site and surroundings in detailed maps - even where you may come across 'muddy bits' after rain! The owner's are keen on wildlife and so are we - looking forward to seeing the wildflower meadow in bloom next year. The local produce for sale was a bonus and a nice bit of 'elbow room' between pitches - very comfortable.

One of the Best

Nice to see how this site as matured since our last visit in 2020, still as wonderful as ever with easy access, spacious, fully serviced, hardstanding pitches. The site is kept immaculate by Emily and Mathew some great touches include the loan of maps with local walks and places of interest plus a cupboard with local produce to purchase. 5 minutes walk to the river with free fishing and ten minutes to Pershore with its beautiful flower baskets , glorious Abbey and delightful shops and cafes. You might even get luckyand bump into Toyah Wilcox, the best we managed was her next door neighbour, a lovely lady. Lots to see in the area including Croome Court NT and not far to Upton on Seven, Great Malvern or the glorious Cotswold villages Thank you Emily for such a great time and the tip about Stanton , surely one of the prettiest of the Cotswold villages with outstanding views from the Mount Inn.

Fantastic Stay on one of the best CLs

Just spent the last 4 nights at Goodleigh Hill CL and one of the best CLs we have been to for a long time. All pitches are hard standing and are fully serviced. So what’s different to others, well it starts from making the booking where you get a welcome pack email containing loads of information about the site and its surrounding area. A day before you get your Pitch number, along with even who is stopping next to you and info on walks. The welcome you get is 2nd to none and if you need any help Emily is on hand. We like to park the car up and walk everywhere, which you can do in every direction. A lovely stroll straight from the site into town or through the gorgeous countryside. We stay on lots of CLs and I always gauge on what my wife says and when she says she feels safe and wouldn’t mind a week here while I go off to work, then I know it’s good. Definitely a site we will return too in the very near future.

A warm and friendly welcome

Emily greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. She gave us lots of information and a large folder with everything you need to know about the site and surrounding area. We were only here for four nights as a short break so didn’t explore as much as we might, but we enjoyed relaxing and listening to the buzzard who was always present and very vocal! A short walk from the site takes you down a private path and on to the river where dragon flies danced around a moored barge and the occasional boat and barge passed by. This path was also padlocked so that only guests at the CL have access and together with the electronic gates makes this site very secure. The owners have worked hard to present an immaculate site with all you could need. The little glass house with produce was a lovely touch. Thank you Emily for a delightful stay!

Great couple of days

Big thank you to Emily & Mathew for your terrific site, great size fully serviced pitches overlooking meadow. There was a folder at each pitch giving all sorts of info of walks, villages in the surrounding area and when you speak with Emily her knowledge & enthusiasm is infectious. Mentioned in other reviews the little glass house is a joy. Will be back for a longer stay, please keep up the good work and look forward to reading another award for CL of the year. Brilliant Site

This was the first of 6 CL sites visited on our 4 week tour and we weren't disappointed. Great pitches with fresh water and grey waste on each one and lovely views of fields and hills in the distance. Easy access from the M5 and very secure. We had excellent communication from Emily the owner on how to pitch, which one we were on and a folder of places to visit, excellent walks etc. We pitched facing the wildflower meadow which was a beautiful area to look at and sit near outside. There is a short, mostly off road walk into Pershore which is a really lovely town, great pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. The walk Emily suggested to Wick and back was great, a beautiful village. There is some road noise, definitely not excessive and didn't bother us. Electric was extra but it didn't come to much for us. We'll definitely be back.

Great CL

Have just got back from our stay at GoodLeigh Hill and we have had a great 7 night stay. The serviced hard standing pitches are big and they are next to a large field with a coppice at the back. When we were not out and about taking in the delights of the local area, we would be sat outside our van and watching and listening to the wild life, Owls, Woodpeckers etc. The trip was made by our host Emily, who supplied us with our own folder of information about the local area. This included places to eat, walking/cycling routes, places of interest. If you have any questions Emily is font of local knowledge. One of the best CL’s we have stayed at.

Just perfect

what a wonderful CL this is with excellent communication from the outset, plenty of info from Emily with your designated pitch emailed to you. Very large hardstanding fully serviced pitches each with their own ring binder full of laminated maps & info, more maps can be found in the little glass house that also stocks local produce with an honesty box. Very clean CDP area & waste/recycle bins. The pitches overlook a wild flower meadow, the perimeter of which is mowed for a dog walk. This type of site is always our first choice when possible, Adult Only & no toilet/shower facilities which makes for a very quiet & peaceful stay, despite a small amount of road noise which is to be expected with its proximity to the town, we didnt find it intrusive. The site is secure behind an electronic gate with a code that is in your welcome email. The river can be reached in a few minutes, with off lead walks for the dogs, and the town itself in an easy 10 min walk. A lovely town with lots of independent shops, indoor market, cafes & pubs, and an Asda to the rear, also a beautiful Abbey & park. Lots of walking in the area direct from the site. this was our first visit, it wont be our last - just perfect.
