Peaceful repose

A warm welcome followed by a lovely stay in a peaceful environment. Pitches are well located in a large field with a large weeping willow overlooking fields. You do not overlook anybody else as there is plenty of room to set up as you wish, and not in a regimental style!! Much to do in the area - coast and NT properties and of course 'Constable' countryside. Facilities very convenient and clean - beware spiders though, this is the country !!! Owners also do home-made Jams, Pickles, and cakes as well as fresh eggs and tomatoes. All in all a very pleasant stay

Such a peaceful site!

This is a lovely tranquil site with a huge area in which to pitch.  The surroundings are idyllic and the owners are friendly and helpful.   The only negative point is that the toilet and shower are a long way from the site and are well overdue for renovation - the shower cubicle is very cramped and there is no ventilation in the toilet.  (An ideal location would be near the chemical disposal point!)

Fantastic

Well done.  How fantastic is this CL. !! We arrived early evening Friday, to be welcomed by the (site wardens) the owners had explained that they would be off site but said there was a lovely couple willing to give any help needed.  We were greeted with a warm welcome and told we could pitch up in any direction we wished on our designated pitch.  The location is beautiful and has a gorgeous willow in the corner of the field.  The facilities are clean, well cared for and all of the surrounding grounds and cottages are of a high standard.  Will definitely visit again. All in all a very peaceful and well run site.

What a gem

What a gem, first class in every way. The amenities are very clean and functional with everything catered for. Toilet, shower and even a laundry room with information on local attractions and locally produced cakes! If that's not enough just over the field is Stonham Barns which is a rural shopping complex with farmers market (certain days), furniture shop other nic naks and a well run cafe which serves delightful food. The site is immaculate and the hosts are perfect always available to ensure your stay is peaceful and stress free. Relax and enjoy, perfect!

Peace and Quiet

If you are looking for a well-run, peaceful CL, this is one for you to consider. We spent 12 days here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The facilities (toilet/shower) were cleaned every morning and there is a small info room with laundry facilities. Mrs Tydeman is very organised and very accessible. Lots to see and do in the area; Ipswich was a special delight.
