The perfect place to unwind, and chillax

Jackie and Mike are great hosts and we couldn't ask for any more. The area was beautiful, with peace and tranquility and wildlife in abundance. There is so much to do, it's the choice that is hard. We wanted to sum it up with the following poem... Glanrhos C P Ode We crossed the bridge into Welsh Dragons' Heaven our journey had been from down in South Devon Where we were escaping from gulls and noise from the town to a tranquil spot in mid Wales, which we hoped we had found The journey there was easy as pie and the Welsh air and views were not a lie We arrived at Glanrhos feeling quite jaded but were soon feeling better, with our past feelings faded The sight awaited us was to behold as we pitched the caravan which we had towed Jackie & Mike greeted us with a smile a folder of info, a cuppa and a chat for a while We finished our tea, then pitched without din with barrels and waste connected within The silence was golden and needed at last we had our peace, with a view not surpassed Each pitch has a garden and a bird feeding station which was visited by various birds of the nation There were Woodpeckers, Sparrows, Tits and Magpies as the magestic Red Kites were soaring on high and the much smaller Swifts were catching bugs on the fly One evening there was even a fox laying low by the nature areas which had not been mown There was a farm cat which was friendly and we found that each evening it would be doing the rounds Stalking the paddock on the lookout for tit bits you see, it was part feral, still using it's wits The places we visited were both near and far which we enjoyed finding, with a map and a car A Mansion, Harbours galore and a Bee Farm too a Coracle Museum, and a Woollen Mill were only a few Of the places we saw and enjoyed loads and loads and we had a few mystery trips, as we took different roads It was time to go but we both felt so glum as we looked at this place, our peace in the sun, (and fog sometimes!) So we booked some more nights on our pitch on the hill it was a place we enjoyed and we'd not had our fill So we stayed for more of this wonderful spot with views, peace and campers coming and going a lot Alas, our days again had come to an end however, we have made two special friends But as we travel back across the bridge homeward bound we are comforted in the knowledge that we'll be back, to reclaim our pitch on the mound...
