We used this site as a base to visit the Inverness area. Nobody was around so we pitched and went off to find elusive dolphins in the Moray Firth! Later we were welcomed by the owners charming son. This is just a basic well mown reasonably flat ex walled garden, obviously no views, but sheltered. Sign posting on the road to the site could be clearer. We were told by another caravanner that it was permissible to walk in the garden and wood. Pity there was nothing to say so.
Basic but nice
Stayed here recently just basic site as expected, nothing to complain about , but personally not to keen on the surrounding area. Owner very nice, we didn't know it was allowed to see the gardens so may have missed out there ,

Pleasant place to stay
We stayed here for 5 nights and could have stayed longer. The site feels very secluded and out of the way but is only 10minutes drive from Nairn. There is plenty of play space for children and walks from the site. The walled garden was beautiful. Owner was friendly and helpful. We will be back.
Gardening leave
As described in the handbook so do not expect views of the countryside. Field in perfect order although six vans were sited at the time of our visit.
Peace and tranquility
We stayed at Geddes House CL for three nights in October - located just outside Nairn this beautiful quiet spot sits close to the main house in part of the walled garden - you can walk around the grounds and gardens, which are beautifully kept. Easy to access from the main road and close to sights/beach (5-10mins drive)/local amenities we wish we could have stayed longer - day trips to watch dolphins/seals on the Black Isle all within easy reach. Very welcoming - we will return...
Secluded Location
Sited in a walled garden with good access to Nairn and surrounding areas. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely CL
We have stayed on this CL as few time now. Lovely walled garden(s). Very pleasant owner. We love Nairn, the walk along the shore front is great. Loads to see and do for all ages. On our way back there this w/end and hope the weather is kind to us once more.
great cl site
Fantastic site in beautifull grounds with lots of wildlife in the gardens that you can walk around. will use this site again without a doubt. the fee is 10 pound per night now.
great sheltered cl
this a quite sheltered cl which sits in a walled garden, owner very friendly and told us to help ourselves to the veg and fruit in the other walled garden. great for dogs as owners allow you to walk all over the estate. great little site which also offers free range eggs and chickens plus sausages. if I was in the area then I would certainly use again.
Summer Holiday 2014
We booked only a week for 12/07/14 as we hadn't expected much in terms of location and weather. We were pleasantly surprised by both.
The CL was easy enough to find following the directions in the book, although not sure if the SatNav would have given us problems coming from the South and wanting to cross country.
Very well maintained lawn inside a walled garden, which offers shelter and positioned to enjoy the sun. The pitches are marked out by numbers on the wall, but not obvious on arrival and not obvious that the booking system is in the wooden info hut. We were lucky enough to pitch on the one allocated to us. There is opportunity to pay for the pitch by putting money in the locked box, which we did. We then asked to stay another night and the owner managed to catch us enabling us to pay for the additional night. The owner then came back twice more asking if she'd already seen us, was feeling a little harassed at this point as though I hadn't paid. It maybe wasn't the intention and perhaps a better system of marking who had paid and who hadn't would avoid this.
We loved being able to walk around the estate with our 'nervous of roads' dog, as the owners encouraged visitors to go and explore. There were other walled gardens to pop in and out of, although a little overgrown good enough for the dog to jump around in.
The surrounding area is beautiful, dog-friendly beaches, plenty of places to visit.
There is a Sainsbury's on the outskirts of Nairn which was very convenient.
Would recommend a visit to this site (my friends are returning end August having visited there last year)
