Fabulous CL site

1st time here and certainly hope to come back. This is what a CL site should be. Easily accessible good sized hardstandings pitches all service provided on pitch. Excellent facilities, friendly available if needed hosts. Plenty of bins and all beautiful grass areas kept immaculate. Extra surprise fresh eggs to buy and home baked treats. Also an extensive library of books and dvds to borrow if the weather isn’t great. Nice villages to explore and lovely scenery all around. Great booking system even see availability of each pitch. Well done Michael and Linda. Thank you.

Great site with all services on each pitch.

Always a lovely warm welcome from Linda and Michael. The grass is kept really neat and short to suit all dogs, and the site is so well presented and clean. Really easy with all services (mains water / drainage / electric) at each pitch. Super dog walk on site and lovely wild flower areas. Incredibly peaceful and well spaced between pitches. The finishing touch is the "wee bothy" with Linda's lovely tray bakes, and a book / DVD library to borrow. The new booking system is great - where you can see and book the pitch you want. Thank you for providing such a lovely site.

SUPER SITE AND HOSTS

What a lovely site! Spacious and well cared for with ample sized pitches. We stayed 3 nights over the Queen's Jubilee weekend. Linda was very friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the surrounding area., which is beautiful. On Friday evening it was a fish and chip supper was available, apparently a one off due to the jubilee, and a free afternoon tea on Saturday! We didn't partake in the latter as we were out and about enjoying the beautiful local area. We would definitely return.

Great for Dogs & Humans

The owners of this site have spared no expense in landscaping and facilities with all large hard standing pitches with water and waste to each pitch but our favourite aspect is the great dog walk from site where your dog can be let off lead safely and without annoying fellow campers. There is a bin for dog waste provided. The views from some of the pitches are far reaching. The lady owner was very welcoming and friendly and being a local person is very knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. Gardenstown must be visited. It is possible to take a motor home down the hill to the harbour here where there is ample parking for such and locals are very friendly and happy to chat. We will definitely return,

Gamrie Bay Caravan site

I have been to the Gamrie Bay site on numerous occasions and can't wait to get back. It is sittuated beside the lovely village of Gardenstown. The site is extremely clean and well kept and the owners Michael and Linda are always on the go going above and beyond attending to the site and helping out with any problems campers might have. Each site is fully serviced and at a very reasonable price. Linda has a little farm shop with eggs and home bakes etc which are delicious a nice extra treat for everybody. It was Jubilee weekend when we were last there and they did a wonderful job of lighting a beacon and flares on the Thursday night with cup of tea afterwards and Fish and chips on the Fri night and on the Saturday a lovely afternoon tea with sausage rolls, sandwiches and Linda's home bakes. Great location for seeing the area and not far from a Spar.

Great hosts and great site

We are return visitors as we are guaranteed a fabulous place to chill here or walk and cycle too ! Linda was most generous, warm and kind host . The extended dog walk , and new cabin with fresh fine bakes take it up another notch . So well kept with lovely flowers and shrubs.

Gamrie Bay

We had a fabulous week on this great site. Linda and Michael were so welcoming and friendly with lots of useful information. The site is spotlessly clean and tidy and well sited for visiting the surrounding area. A favourite for us was watching the gannets at Troup Head. We hope to be back in the future. Thank you!

Must be one of the best CL's

Our go to site having visited Gamrie Bay several times in the past year. Always a warm welcome from Linda & Michael. Well laid out site giving space between pitches with lovely open views. Site is exceptionally well maintained with a good sized on site dog walk. Will not go as far as recommending a pitch to ensure our favourite does not get overbooked!! If you have any problems Linda &Michael are always on hand to assist. Looking forward to our next visit.
