What a little gem!

A terrific site in a beautiful corner of Scotland. All the pitches are fully serviced and well-spaced out. There's even a motorhome service point. For dog lovers, there's an excellent dog walk on site. Set in a very rural location yet just a short drive from Turriff, MacDuff and the beautiful seaside villages of Gardenstown (Gamrie), Crovie & Pennan of Local Hero fame. Linda & Michael, the owners are the salt of the earth. You'll look far to find anyone as friendly or helpful. If you go to Banffshire this is the only site you'll need. And like us, you may find yourselves going back again and again.

Fantastic site, fantastic location !

We stayed here for a few days in September, This is our second time here and its only got better over time ! Fantastic hardstanding pitches with water available on the pitch. Modern disposal facilities at the back of the site.Location is very handy for the amazing Gardenstown village and the equally fabulous beach at Banff. Our dog Ruby loved the onsite dog walk and running free on the nearby beaches. Friendly hosts who took the time to chat and recommend local attractions. Its a really nice part of the world and Gamrie Bay site is a great base!

Great little CL with best dog walk ever!

Very quiet and peaceful CL. Good sized pitches with plenty of room in between. Good facilities- water and waste disposal next to pitch and chemical toilet disposal only a short walk away. Great dog walk, still with some wild flowers out in October. Nice walk to Gardenstown where we visited Ellie’s cafe for a drink and very good cake.

Excellent CL

Another great stay at Gamrie with a warm welcome from Linda as always. This is a very well maintained site in a quiet location but well placed for exploring the area. Great value with fully serviced pitches. We'll be back again next year.

Tidy

Very nice tidy site. Extended to include licensed site behind CL so now has total of 14 pitches all with electric and water and grey waste drains. Owner Linda really friendly and helpful. At busier times she has homemade cakes for sale and honey and eggs. No toilet or shower so you must be self sufficient. We only stayed one night enroute but there are several small pretty fishing villages nearby , its just off the Tourist Trail East which takes you through these.

Lovely CL

A lovely, peaceful, well maintained site. The dog walk has several paths through the wild flower meadow and woods which our dog enjoyed. We needed levellers on our pitch(7) but it wasn’t an issue as we knew that we might from the website. Linda was very welcoming and very helpful of places to visit. The only issue we had was that the village was on the side of a steep brae, which we hadn’t realised when we booked. We have a Motorhome and like to walk with our dog to visit places when on site but health issues prevents us sometimes when it’s too hilly. However I would thoroughly recommend this site as it’s a real gem and definitely worth a visit. I wish a lot more CL’s were like this.

Great location

A great CL on a well-appointed site. Lovely welcome from Linda and loved the cakes and honey. Made to feel very welcome and only sorry that our stay was so short. Short run down to the character harbour. Beautiful and relaxing stay.

One of the best

We've been to this site a few times now and can't fault it. The whole place is immaculate, the owners are always available and ready to help with any concerns, grass is regularly cut, buckets emptied daily and the 'Home bakes' are a treat!! The dog walk is clean and well maintained....... and very handy for walking off one too many of Linda's 'toffee shortbread'!!

Lovely CL

This is a great CL, spacious and well maintained with open views and a very welcoming information hut. Having a tap at each pitch is really handy. The dog walk takes you through a beautiful wild flower meadow which was in full bloom when I was there.
