We had a wonderful week here in June. Great CL. as we were staying for a week the owner had put us on pitch 6 (6 pitches so he can rotate them) on a hump at the far end of the field. We were not impressed at first but once we had pitched we realised we had the best views on the site towards the mountains and red kite swooping around us everyday. We love mid Wales and visit most years and this is one of the best CL's we have found in the area. Purpose built toilet and shower block was good to have. So much to see and do. Narrow gauge steam railways into the mountains at Twyn and Aberystwyth. Local Wildlife Trust site nearby with Ospreys nesting and the cafe there is very good. We fell in love with Aberdovey with it's beautiful beach. Walking is great in the mountains even if like us you can't get to the top of the big ones anymore.
