Bijou site

quite a bijou site, and anticipate that if it had all large caravans, with awnings and large tow cars it would seem rather cramped. The owners are very welcoming and the pitches well marked, with well manicured lawns. We were not quite expecting as many dogs on site, with 4 other units having 6 dogs between them and a couple were rather noisy. But as we were either out walking or mountain biking it was no big deal (apart from the 8 o'clock early morning call of dogs anxious for their walk). Superb position close to the estuary, along a narrow road with passing points. The trains were every 10 minutes or so but prove not to be any distraction, in fact quite fascinating!....and yes we would go back!

Very small site

This site is  very near the sea. However it really is tiny and it felt very cramped with all five pitches taken. It's also not very peaceful with the trains passing every 10 minutes at the back of the site. Emptying waste water is not easy as you have to lift it up at least 2 feet into the sluice. Well maintained.

perfect site

Beautiful site with paved level pitches. Only a two minute walk from the sands with Fantastic views of surrounding mountains, and ideal for walking the dog. Good base for exploring the lakes, Yorkshire national park and Morcombe. Very friendly owners who made us feel very welcome.
