Stayed at Forton House recently to visit family in nearby Chard. This has to be one of the best CL’s we have stayed on. Excellent serviced pitch with plenty of room. Toilet and shower available in modern ‘hut’ which we found to be very clean. Our fellow Club members on the site were all very friendly and I’m sure the tranquil and peaceful site helped everyone to relax and just have an enjoyable break. Peter, the site owner, was helpful and friendly. He’s busy creating shepherd huts on an adjoining area and these will be a complimentary facility to the CAMC site. Highly recommend this site and we will definitely be returning.
