An absolute gem of a site. Beautifully kept, nicey landscaped. So many stars on a clear night. We visited it because it was not far from home (21 miles) and we were introducing our young golden retriever to the caravan. What made it even more special for us was the adjacent, super huge, field where he could run. He took one look at the open space and had a great time exploring all that it had to offer. Plenty of footpaths around there as well if you want to explore on foot. The last section of road from Wittersham village to the site is narrow in places, so be careful in case of any local traffic - not that there is much of it - but just something to watch out for. Certainly doesn't detract from the attractiveness of the site though - and we look forward to exploring the area again in the future.
