Brilliant C L

Lovely spacious well maintained C L run by the friendly and welcoming owners Joan & John our dog was befriended and spoilt by Joan who he loved. The toilet along with hot and cold water is kept clean. Easy access through entrance gate. Close enough to places of interest without lots of  driving, we enjoyed our visit and definitely plan to return, thank you Joan & John for your hospitality Chris Brian &Benji

First time CL users

We normally stay on the bigger sites so we thought time to branch out and try the smaller sites. We booked this site as it is close to home the reviews were good and it had all that we wanted .we had just the one night. Booking was easy. We did drive passed the site entrance which is the entrance to the caravan club site which confused us! However we made a call to the owners who explained where they were. We were met by the owners and shown to our pitch. We were then asked if we wanted tea or coffee!? We discovered that the owners were dog lovers and our little Cockapoo became firm friends and was treated to a variety of treats and play times. The field was a good size and not cramped. The toilet was clean and sufficient with good access to water. Although in a camper van you may need a long hose ?! There was some road noise but not enough to distract us from sitting out in the evening, there is a dog walk nearby and a pub all in walking distance. It was a shame we had only the one night. For a first CL experience we where very pleased . We would stay again and loved the freedom that it offered. Like real camping...almost!! It was not like many sites with host of rules and regulations.
