A perfect spot
Our recent stay here was fantastic. When we arrived, we were welcomed onto the site, I had barely get out of the car before the owner had appeared and opened the gate for us. We were informed of where all the hook up points were and then left free to decide where to pitch, he explained the location of all of the facilities and we had a nice conversation of his future plans for the site which sound very impressive. When his wife returned, she also came across to welcome us.
The site has plenty of space so you are not squashed in between everybody else and you are free to pitch in whichever way suits you, there are some lovely views from the site.
There is a footpath which is easily accessible from the site which leads to the village and a small shop which is convenient to walk the dog along. the site feels secure with a locked gate to get in and out, just the same as a main club site. the toilet is very quaint and full of character, a real delight, hopefully if they develop a toilet/shower facility as planned, they are able to keep this one as well!
The nearby pub, The Anchor, does good food, although they did forget vegetables with my wife's meal, when this was queried, the message came back from the kitchen that there were no vegetables with that meal, although when we complained when we paid the bill, we found out there should have been.
Chichester Golf Course has a very impressive Adventure Golf which is suitable for all ages - if you go a second time in a day, it's half price! On our second trip round, we found Damon Hill was behind us having a game with his son.
Overall, a wonderful site, very well located and run by very friendly and helpful people. We look forward to a return visit in the future.
