Perfect

Just had a stopover at this CL, will certainly return for a longer stay. Water to each pitch is handy when showering in the caravan. Nice friendly welcome.

Full for a reason .....

First thing - very easy to get to from the main road, no chance of getting lost on a country road with no place to turn. The local village has lots in it, restaurant, bar, butcher, chemist as well as local shops.  On top of this, it is very close to either Perth or Dundee for outings! The views from the site are exceptional, in my opinion, and the site itself was all we could ask for!  The most level pitches I have ever seen, welcoming owners ..... and a pull round when your motor mover fails you!!! Lol! Never even heard lorries arriving next door .... drier wasn't on as that would only be for only a few weeks maximum per year .... and if it had, surely road traffic (like many CL's) would have been worse! In conclusion ..... think it just might have been the Best CL we have ever stayed on .....

Relaxing site with free entertainment

We really enjoyed our stay at this CL. The owners were very helpful with local knowledge. Watching the ducks and hens from pitch four was a real pleasure especially seeing David rounding them up each evening. We would recommend this site to anyone.

my husband and I love this site it is great for visits to Perth or Dundee, bus stop at the end of the road. The welcome you will receive from David and Joan is second to none. Great fresh hen or duck eggs every day.  we have never been disturbed by the grain wagons must be the perthshire air we are always flaked out at the end of the day

Scotland Yes or No!

Great little CL... we were pitched on paddock and entertained by hens and ducks. There is a grain store in adjacent land but do understand the fact that the country cant survive without agriculture; maybe just add this to site information!!!. Not a problem for us and find it fascinating seeing the grain wagons and country life in action. Owners very friendly and accommodating; eggs available for all that want them. Just enjoying the sun sett and as my neighbour said as leaving today we will be back next August. Fished Tayport today looking to catch my supper; a place to relax....

Noisey

Came for one night and kept awake by industrial noise from adjacent grain driers and associated plant. Its 0220 and other half is  furious. Now leaving, I won't be back. The proprietor was friendly when I met him, shame his neighbours suck. I do not recommend.

Late summer break

A fabulous CL with loads to offer. Free range eggs from the hens in the garden, small village for basic supplies within walking distance and adjacent to cycle routes to Perth and Dundee. A great, friendly Cl owner too!

A Gem

Upon arrival we were a little panicky.  The book had said 1 Acre and this was one of the main reasons for booking since we have a large dog which we like to keep away from others.  The paddock was certainly not 1 acre, however the owner met us at the gate and took us through to the back paddock where there were a further 3 pitches - only 2 in use at the time of our stay.  It was picture perfect, we moved our van onto our pitch via the motor mover to enable us to look out over the views, beautiful. There are chicken and ducks running freely around the back paddock which you may need to be aware of, as again this was a concern of ours with the dog.  Fortunately he decided that poultry was not his ideal choice during our stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful.  There is an information hut which has as many up to date leaflets as any Tourist Information Centre.  The owner has also given a helpful list of local tours, and we took advantage of three of them during our stay. It really was a pleasure to stay there, and would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Perth and Dundee, easy access to both.

Outstanding

Cannot find fault with this perfect lovely site. We've been 3 or 4 times this year and each time it is still perfect for us. We don't live far and we don't need to go far for it to be our ideal "piece of heaven". Perfect in every way and a great reception every time. Just booked to go again tomorrow!
