Improving all the time.

Nice to return to one of our favourite CL's and find the owner has made improvements over the winter. The gateway is now 14 feet wide and set back from the road. Car and caravan can be driven safely off the road to reach the entrance gate.

Excellent CL

Have just spent a very wet August BH weekend on Eastmoor Farm CL. Care needs to be taken towing into the site as the gate needs to be opened and the driveway isn't long enough to take a car and caravan so you have to pull up on the road for a few minutes. That said, I understand the owners are planning to move the gate further into the field to give the necessary access space. The field itself is huge with pitches spread along two of the four sides. There is some road noise during the day but it is quiet at night. EHU's are available and the water and chemical waste disposal points are adjacent to each other near the farmhouse. I have read the comments re the waste disposal point and whilst it is basic it does the job and I had no problem using it. The site is ideally situated for Rhosilli, Port Eynon and other parts of the Gower. The site owners are very friendly and helpful and were happy to give us a tow off the field with their tractor after 15 hours continuous rain. In my opinion this is a very good CL in a beautiful area.

Gorgeous Gower!

First visit to this part of Wales, but won't be the last!  The site is spacious with amazing views as described. The facilities are everything you need and despite other reviews, are kept in first class condition. The chemical disposal is clean and discreet with waste simply disappearing down the drain. Please don't be put off by comments about the gate access. I am a solo tower with a large van. I just used common sense to put hazards on before getting out to open gate and access the site. Easy! Lovely friendly welcome by the owners who could not do enough to help. Thank you and I will be back! Gill.

Spacious Site

Lovely site with lots of distance between pitches which are spread around the edges of the field. We found the entrance to the field a little narrow and a bit precarious when we were towing. You have to open the gate to the field before you turn from a reasonably busy road to enter, with nowhere to park safely. The same care has to be taken upon leaving the site. Approach the entrance slowly and with care. Some attention needs to be made to the toilet disposal area. On saying all of that, its a lovely location for Rhossili and the Welsh Coast Path and offers reasonable access to the more picturesque south and west coast of the Gower. The site is about a half hour drive to Gowerton railway station offering the opportunity for trips to Cardiff, Swansea and Tenby all within an hour or so and great if the weather is poor. First visit to The Gower

Would definitely recommend you follow the directions given, we missed the right hand turn in Gowerton which is at the lights on the top of the hill after going under the bridge. It is worth noting that we didn't see any sign of part hard standings. The site is a large field which had only been cut round the edges and had lovely swathes of wild flowers mixed in the hay. The toilet disposal point needs attention in our opinion as we have experienced a lot better on other sites. Site is in an excellent location for Rhossili beach and surrounding area.

Lovely site.

A lovely 4 acre site for just 5 vans. Peace and quiet. The whole area is a walkers paradise, with footpaths all around the site. Easy access to the Gower Way and the Welsh Coastal Path. Rhossilli is a must to visit. The owners were very helpfull and ready to givbe advice or help at a moments notice. The nearest bus stop is only 50 yeards away, so easy access if you want a break from driving, or want to have a walk back to the site.

Peaceful and spacious CL

A thoroughly pleasant stay in such a wonderful area. The CL was kept in tip top condition and the amount of space between the caravans was huge so it was very private for sitting out and just enjoying the scenery. So handy for Rhossili itself and not far from all the other wonderful beaches. The only negative I had was that we had a two week stay, this being my first time in this area and really it would have been nice to have had an information area, some leaflets etc.  Still, all in all a very nice place to be.

scenic heaven

never ventured this part of the country before, what a mistake, the bay is fabulous, liked it that much we spent our time on two chairs with a picnic overlooking the bay and cliffs. the site is absolutely fine, very welcoming and friendly, a local shop and garage stocking all essentials and to top it off " the Pub" at the end of the bay. brilliant.
