Pleasant stay, but.....
....as mentioned in previous reviews, there is a very busy and noisy road during the day directly behind the pitches. The owners make it clear in their information, so it was not a surprise. However, it was quiet at night and we slept well. Very nice views in a sunny position, well manicured and level pitches although its unfortunate that all pitches are double width hard standing meaning awnings must be on the coarse gravel. A ground sheet or other covering is therefore recommended. The water pressure is very low and appears to have been an issue for some time although apparently this is being looked into. The information hut had only site rules, a barbecue but no local information. There is a useful dog walking area around the field on lead, just be aware that clearly marked electric fencing is in operation. There are well equipped laundry facilities in the lower field where there is a separate touring caravan site. The site owners run a useful and well stocked farm stock with locally sourced meat products. The site is in an ideal position for exploring all the local area and coast. North Berwick is very special and we were lucky enough to visit some private gardens on the open garden scheme.
