EXCELLENT CL

David & Sarah are so lovely & helpful hosts they cannot do enough for you !!!! the site is so peaceful & quite it's perfect, you cannot fault the facilities they have provided the shower room is excellent !!! Woodhall Spa is a lovely place to visit. We have three dogs and there are plenty of walks nearby for them and you are only 30-40 minutes away from the coast so you've got the best of both worlds, I would highly recommend this site .

Tasteful Tranquility

David and Sarah Benton were perfect hosts!. They could not do enough for us while we were there and their CL site is a place of outstanding beauty. We stayed for a week and didn't want to come home. We saw the sly old fox after Sarah's chickens, we were woken by the woodpeckers, watched the kestrels hunting and were also lucky enough to see the barn owl at dusk. Excellent site, excellent facilities and will definitely be back. Thank you David and Sarah for making our stay one of the best we've ever had. Oh and thank you Teddy (their red airedale) who was always pleased to see you!

Peace and quiet!

This is a lovely site, we have just spent a week enjoying the sense of space, peace and quiet and the gorgeous view. The wildlife is great, we saw jays, redwings, black pheasants, a fox and even a merlin! David and Sarah gave us a very warm welcome, they have created a really spacious site, the shower and toilet facilities were good, especially the king-size shower! The whole area is well worth visiting, there are plenty of footpaths, and country lanes and villages to explore. We had a day in Lincoln, using our bus passes, and also went to Louth, where the church is magnificent! We love Woodhall Spa and its history and character, so being so close to it was a real treat . We will look forward to visiting this site again

Lovely relaxing stay

As previous stated, The site provides superb views over the surrounding countryside. The pitches are in a field with easy access and plenty of space. Waste Drainage and fresh water taps nearby the pitches. The peace and quiet is refreshing. We had our bicycles with us and it was easy to ride into Woodhall Spa on very quiet rural roads. There are numerous walks from the site as well. The toilet and shower are of a very high standard, albeit persuading the shower thermostatic to stay on a reasonable temperature is a game fit for the 'Cube' . Woodhall Spa is lovely, lots of quality little shops, tea shops and cafe abound. The host family are exceptionally friendly and welcoming helpful throughout our short stay. To summarise lovely location, plenty of space and relaxing.

Peace and tranquillity

We visited in September 2012, apologies for a belated review. The site provides superb views over the surrounding countryside. The pitches are in a field with easy access and plenty of space. The peace and quiet is a real tonic and the night sky is a revelation as there is very low light pollution. There are numerous walks from the site which I took advantage of during our stay. The toilet and shower are of a very high standard. Woodhall Spa is worth a visit and provides all shopping needs and a good selection of eating places. Do try the picture house in the forest, a wonderful trip back in time. Sarah and David were so helpful throughout our stay and have created a top notch C.L with very good standards in a beautiful setting. Well worth a visit

Relaxing Holiday

Upon arriving at the site we were greeted by David, the owner, and were made to feel welcome straightaway. The site is very rural and the only nighttime sounds you hear are the owls and the wildlife. The toilet and shower room were immaculate and very spacious. Woodhall Spa is just 2 miles away and has plenty of small shops to suit everyones needs. Thank you Sarah and David for making our stay very enjoyable.
