Excellent site in the New Forest
Just returned from a week's stay at Danebury in The New Forest. Lovely welcome letter on arrival, friendly owners stopping for a chat most days. Our daughter loved the owners ponies Mae, Candy and Daisy. She was able to help look after them and Our son enjoyed playing with the owners dogs Skye and Lunar! Clean spacious grass pitches. Waste and recycling facilities. Central location for days out. Excellent family and dog friendly pub with garden and large play area 'The Rising Sun' within walking distance. Close to beaches (Milton On Sea is dog friendly) and local shopping such as Lymmington/Lyndhurst. Free museum in Lyndhurst car park with excellent activities for the children. Visit Brokenhurst just down the road where you will find a lake the children and dogs can splash around in or take a fishing net and picnic (free parking). Local car parks excellent value at roughly £1 an hour. Access to the forest from the caravan site where you will find New Forest Ponies! Lots of beautiful walks and scenery. Visit Hurst Castle English Heritage Site (dog friendly) and very reasonably priced.
Excellent site for everyone to enjoy.
