Loved it here
My first positive impressions were borne out by the overall experience over two days.
The farm is accessed by a narrow country lane, and therefore nicely tucked away, secluded and peaceful. Its immediate surroundings are lovely. Grass pitches are dotted around among small trees and islands of unmown grass, making for a more natural, less uniform appearance than some manicured sites. Fields with sheep bordered on two sides.
You’ll find a Tesco Local and Post Office in Exminster village, a mile or so away.
Its one drawback is that the amenities are notably tired. It didn’t bother me at this price point and there’s no doubt the owner would have to charge more if they were modernised. Nevertheless, I’ve reluctantly docked one star as it may be a factor for other people to consider.
