January Stay

Stayed here for 4 nights, and it was rather wet so the grass pitches could not be used and it was a bit muddy round the hardstand ones, which could do with being a bit wider. Although nor far from the A55 there was very little traffic noise. Easy access to Chester and the nearest supermarket is just a couple of miles away at Broughton. There are a couple of fishing lakes on the farm, around which one can walk one's dog. Each pitch has it's own water supply and there is also a toilet and shower.

Report

Just had a weekend at this lovely, quiet and peaceful farm site. Owners were very friendly and happy for us to watch the milking. It rained a lot but the site was well drained and so it was not a problem. Caravans are well spaced out on a very well kept field. Each pitch had its own water supply and electric hookup. Only one shower and one toilet on the site but not a problem. We would go back again.

just come back from 3 nts the weather was bad so muddy but of course not the owners fault they are so helpful could not do enough the only thing that I would says is that the hard standings needed a bit of work and they would have been perfect thanks for a great weekend, Robert Gill and bobby

Very popular CL site

Friendly owners who look after the site. Lovely surroundings, each pitch with own water supply. Easy access for North Wales and Chester. Local pub within walking distance, no need to drive. Incorrect directions. Leave A55 at J36 and not J35 as in book.

Great find

We were looking for a CL to meet with family from further south and had stayed at a nearby CL previously, but could not find it on the site directory. After looking over the reviews, we decided on Crab Mill Farm and were not disappointed at all. Rather than venture out, we decided to stay on the site and enjoy some quiet time as it was so peaceful and well tended. The great weather helped the decision too. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Facilities were clean and we even got to see a very newborn calf! Highly recommended and I will certainly book again.

Crab Mill Farm

Just returned from a 3 day stay at this lovely CL. Site. Rural setting within easy reach of Chester and Wrexham. Friendly helpful owners and excellent well kept site. Toilet and shower clean and adequate. Will definitely return in the better weather.
