Second Visit

Last visited in 2014 and nothing has changed except the children have grown up. As per the instructions we arrived and set up and Helen and daughter plus a mower arrived around tea time. Got the money out of the way and settled in for a relaxing start to out tour of the north. The site is about 4 miles from the M6, clear instructions how to get there. As this was our second visit we mainly stayed around the farm, walking down to the sea to exercis ethe dog and walk off lunches. A visit to the station at Carnforth (Brief Encounter set) is a must and the station buffet provided a reasonable 1940's meal, or at least thats what I called it. Good bookshop in the town with some good bargains. Great place to stop on the way north. Heather & Duncan Shepherd. Stayed 26/29 Jun 2017
