Despite the warmth of our welcome and the stunning view of the hillside we were disappointed to find ourselves sandwiched between a noisy portaloo cleaning and storage facility, and an occasionally used helicopter pad. The site is long but but very narrow, and you cannot but help park under the mature trees if you are to leave room for others to drive past you. As a result we felt quite threatened by the large oak we were parked under during a gale one night, and we hardly slept for the noise of twigs, small branches, and large volumes of eater shaken off by the tree leaves after each gust of wind. We think the trees are DANGEROUS and should be cut back to the boundary to avoid flattenig someone. A basic site and not worth the amount paid for it.
