Excellent

It's such a shame CL's are not rated because many CL owners deserve recognition and inquiries for all the hard work they do over and above what is necessary just to be a CL. This site would definitely be a 5 star. So very quintessentially English. It's very much luck of the draw when you book, I was lucky with this one, thank you for sharing your lovely site. Doesn't seem fair that in the past I have stayed on other CL's that unknown to me until I get there are well below par. Only way of finding out is by feedback, if no feedback has been left you have to chance it. Always nice to find a gem, Common farm is, shame about the name!

Fabulous CL!

We've used this CL a number of times & it's quickly become our favourite site. The owners Sally and Graham are welcoming and friendly - always willing to help. The site is flat, lawned & spacious with well placed electrics. There are conveniently placed picnic tables on site for the use of site guests. The immediate countryside is lovely - great for walking & cycling and only a short drive to York, Beverley or the coast. Ideal!

weekend break

great little CL good access, well spaced out pitches, views of open countryside, friendly helpful owners, loads of birds and wildlife, free fishing on a small farm pond. I was looking for a site local to me for times when I want a break in the van but cant actually go on a trip and with this site I found it, will be back many times.

Our first ever site

We chose this site for our first ever caravan trip in May 2012 as it was close by and easy to get to and we had a lot to learn. Unfortunately there was no sign of the owners for the duration of our stay and the EHU was hanging from a tree wrapped in an old rubble sack. However, we managed with help of other guests and it is a beautiful location with a stream running through it.
