Rural yet central to attractions

We recently spent four nights at Cobbs Meadow, not our first stay. This is a peaceful, well maintained and friendly site in rural surroundings, yet close to many attractions. Canterbury Park and Ride services being a just short drive away. The site has all the facilities one would expect from a well maintained C.L. Two fresh water taps, two rubbish bin sites and one of the best well screened chemical toilet disposal points. The site is spacious, the units being well spaced with plenty of all-round room. Little chance of being overlooked by a neighbouring unit. There is a railway line running along one side of the site. As this is in a deep cutting it is invisible and virtually silent. We have pitched by the fence seperating the line from the site and hardly noticed the passing trains. The site owner, Mrs Christine Ash, does not live on site, but nearby. Mrs Ash visits the site regularly, is most welcoming and always ready to offer help. Our two grandaughters, who live some six miles away, love the site and always demand to spend at least one night with us during our stay. The approach road is on the narrow side and must be treated with appropriate caution, it is after all a rural area which has remained unchanged for many years, adding to the attraction of staying at the site.
