A CL for all year caravanning.

Good directions and a near easy tow (some care needed over the last mile due to the width of the country lane). A nice wide entrance to turn into; then an easy reverse into the hard standing pitches - we were on pitch three and have an 8m TA and no problem. Pitches are level. The toilets and shower are very clean; plus grey and drinking water is a short distance away - chemical point also behind the shower block. TV and mobile phone reception also very good. Very peaceful site, good dog walks nearby; plus Cromer and Sheringham are short drives away. Great value for money and a CL to have on your list for all the year round. Thanks Ian, we will back soon. Ease of arrival/welcome

The perfect place to relax and unwind away from it all.

Well kept site with clear instructions for arrival. The owner visits when you have had a chance to pitch and get sorted. The toilets and showers were clean (At least an hour was spent on cleaning the toilets and showers everyday by the owners) and well placed with lots of useful information in both the ladies and gents. Free range eggs available to purchase and any excess produce from the owner's garden was offered for free to visitors. Nothing was too much effort and the owners were unobtrusive but ensured that everyone was happy and had everything that they needed on a daily basis. This included the opportunity to order a paper every day that was delivered to your caravan. After a very busy and stressful year this was the perfect location for us to destress and relax. It is also the friendliest site that we have visited since joining the club 7 years ago, partly because of the well planned layout of the pitches and the thoughtful placement of picnic benches, which encouraged people to mingle and chat in the evenings if they wished. We will certainly visit again and many of the people we met during our stay had visited on previous occasions.

A perfect CL site

First visit to this CL but definately not the last. A warm welcome. Lovely and quiet, clean and well kept. The toilets/showers are what some other CL's should aspire to.

Perfect CL

Just had the Easter break here and found it to be wonderful. Peaceful location looking out onto a paddock where Mr Windley keeps his sheep that he shows. The CL grounds are well kept and tidy, with shower facilities etc cleaned spotlessly everyday. Within easy reach of Cromer and Sheringham. From the site we walked our dog along many footpath routes too. Fresh eggs available to buy also. We will definitely return sometime.

First Class CL

Once again a very enjoyable stay at one of our favourite CL's within the UK. Clean and well maintained, plus very well located to pop into Cromer and the north Norfolk coast. Everything you need is here. Nothing to worry about and nothing forgotten. All services are well maintained, clean and well situated. Power is good at around 10amps and the piches are flat. We shall visit again next season. We would advise you the reader to do the same.

Great CL

What a great CL from the welcome from Ian's to the excellent facilities including delicious free apples. Level hardstanding pitches and well maintained site. Plenty of walking options from site. Lots of POI including Sheringham Park, Blickling Hall and Fellbrigg House (NT) and a little further away Thitchwell and Snettisham Bird reserves (RSPB). Spoilt for choice for seaside and market towns, Cromer, Sheringham, Wells, Aylsham, Holt etc. Plenty of good pubs. The handbook indicates free Wifi but this is not the case as it is £5/day or £15/week. No problem for mobile signal or internet on I phone

IDEAL CL

This is one of the best CL we have visted. Level pitches clean toilets and showers and to top it all we were made very welcome by the owners. There is plenty to do in the area, National Trust properties, Steam Trains and of course the Norfolk Broads. We just wish that we lived a bit closer (6 hour Journey) but we will be returning soon.

More CL's like this one.

My wife and I have just spent a lovely week at this site and we could not have wished for better. A great welcome from the owners and nothing was too much trouble. Toilet?showers were first class in every way. We shall certainly be returning in the future. David & Carol Maltby

what a site

What a great CL site it was our first time on a CL and now we will find it hard to get a better site, Ian was a very good host and every thing was clean and tidy the toilet and showers were spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. The site itself is very peaceful just a few sounds coming from the sheep and pheasants which was nice, there are plenty of walks around and the people are friendly in the pretty village. The site is not far from the coast at Cromer which has plenty of shops and stores as well as pubs serving real ale. Don't trust your Sat nav We will return again
