CL Paradise

We had great communication from Ted prior to arriving. He is a wonderful host. Making sure everything is ok for everyone. As others have said it’s quiet and the views are amazing. The surrounding area is beautiful and easy to find. The Red Kites are wonderful to watch. The Wi-Fi is brilliant and the fully serviced pitch’s are a bonus to the whole experience. As we left I thanked Ted for sharing his Paradise with us as that’s how I truly felt. We will go back.

What a Cl.

Beautiful views. Red Kites flying overhead. Plenty of walks from the site. Large hard standings, fully serviced pitches and fast reliable wi-if. Ted was an excellent host. In my view probably the best site we have stayed at. We will be returning.

Stunning CL

Thanks to Ted and Jacky for a lovely 3 night stay, our first time here. The other reviews say it all, but over and above that, Ted kindly and unasked, knocked up 2 ramps for us to use on our motorhome as we weren't quite level and had left mine at home. Pixie enjoyed the walks and exploring the vast grounds too. And all just 25 miles from home, we'll be back - if we can get in!!

Pdrfect

We stayed here during the warm and sunny week in March for our first break of the season. Everything was perfect from the initial search and booking online to the welcoming email and payment instructions before we left home. This is a lovely site with fine views and red kites constantly gliding about which was very relaxing. A good area for National Trust properties and lovely walks along the Thames from various locations. Will return next time we want to visit the area. Fed and Jackie were good hosts and only a phone call away should you need anything.

Lovely weekend

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Cholsey Grange - quiet, tranquil, rural site. Views are lovely and the walks were great, both from the site and slightly further afield. All the pubs offered good food and were friendly and welcoming. I was very impressed with the local information provided and contact prior to our visit. Thanks to everyone at Cholsey Grange - we will definitely be back.

Our Favourite CL

We often stay here because it is such a lovely, peaceful site. The owners have continually invested over the years with the most recent innovation being an easy check-in, check-out, local stay information and payment app. The pitches are level, fully serviced and spacious. Everyone gets a view of red kites flying over the Chiltern Hills... but a word of warning... watch out for that steak on the BBQ, the kites like them too! A bicycle is recommended for trips to local villages as the area is a bit, well, hilly. The Chiltern Fox is close by on foot and offers a wide menu from fish and chips to fine bistro. The walks in the AONB hills are well marked. You will need good footwear as the trails are muddy in places in winter. The farm animals, horses, hens, wildfowl, and peacocks add to the ambience of a stay in the country. We found one of the peacocks in our awning on our previous visit. He was comfortably asleep on the floor mat and showed no signs of needing to leave when we arrived. He eventually made his way out when we realized there wasn't a snack on offer. Another great stay, thanks to the Cholsey Grange team!

Brilliant site, great views and well run

This is our second visit to this site, not the best time of year to appreciate the countryside but we needed a break. Ted has everything working like clockwork, shame he could not travel over the hill to Chequers at give Boris a lesson on how to run things ! - I love the automation it just makes things easy. Loads of lovely walks and nice pubs in the area. We will be back !!

Top Class

Recently stayed 5 nights with a group of friends and we were unanimous in our view that this is a first rate CL. We were given clear guidance on the arrivals procedure and warmly welcomed by Ted and his dogs. The pitches are spacious and the scenery spectacular. You can orientate your unit any way you wish to make the most of the views. We love walking and found our way to several local pubs ( the numerous footpaths are well signed ), but unfortunately ran out of time to try the walking cafe recommended by Ted. Our dogs loved it. Highly recommended for a peaceful break in a scenic location.
