OK but no WiFi on site

As with previous reviews there is a great variety of wildlife on this site , the lane to the site can be mucky as the cows offen use the lane to get to and from milking. One disappointment was the lack of WiFi ( the info hut refers you to McDonalds a few miles away!) Unlike some other reviews we only saw the owners when we paid, and there was no further contact. There was a good bus service from the end of the farm lane, and lots of footpaths.

Comment from The Club

Many thanks for leaving a review. The CL owner has been in touch as she wants to address your concerns. The information room has a notice board with the names of the local pubs, eateries and shops for the benefit of members staying at site. They try to provide as much useful information as possible, however, there are no leaflets for McDonalds, so we’re not sure where this came from. They have recently had an outdoor Wi-Fi aerial erected so hopefully people can connect to the internet from the comfort of their own van. The CL owners always try to speak to all visitors shortly after arrival, however this is not always possible and sometimes people seem to prefer their own space. As such they try to react accordingly but are available if anyone needs any help or assistance. We hope this addresses your concerns.

Perfect Peace

Lovely peaceful site, teeming with wild life. We saw Badgers,Foxes,Woodpeckers ,Owls,a small furry thing we thought was a stoat, or similar, and an abundance of different bird species. The walks are as stated before spectacular. The outstanding feature was the warm welcome and the helpful hints given by the owners, of where to go nearby.Talking of wild life! My wife was there too!!

Great LocalPlacesOfInterest

We stayed at Chiverton Farm for 4 nights in August. The grass was kept very short and the site was tidy. There are plenty of good coastal path walks and the site is well located for several sandy beaches, villages and National Trust properties. We cycled over to Mousehole using the cycle path around Penzance & Newlyn. Only down side is if the weather is wet the access track can be muddy, although there is access via a footpath at the rear of the site

Peaceful and Quiet

We had a very enjoyable stay at this CL. Quiet and peaceful with easy access to the coastal path and surrounding places of interest. The owners are very welcoming but don't trust your Sat Nav to get there - it tried to take us in through the back of the farm - impossible for a car and caravan.
