Fabulously located site. Turn left along the coastal path to Prussia Cove or right to Saint Michaels Mount. Loads of little hidden beaches. Beautiful scenery. We had fish and chips opposite Saint Michaels Mount in Marazion while the tide came in. We will definitely visit again.

so relaxing...

Stayed for a week from 13th May 2019, this is a fantastic place for those who like peace, tranquillity and wildlife...I woke to the sound of owls in the morning and saw foxes, and rabbits. Great access to stunning coastline from the site. The family are lovely. My favourite CL by far. Just remember this is a working farm so don't be surprised that you access it via a rough track or the occasional wait while the cows come in for milking. Thank you Donald, Anita and family, can't wait to come back.

Perfect for exploring this part of Cornwall

Firstly let me start by saying I know that we all look for different things, so a site I find perfect may be another members nightmare or vice visa. I base this on a couple of midweek nights in Jan 2019 (8/9th) I am a single male camper with caravan in my mid 30's and camp in a caravan with my two cats who love joining me in the 'holiday box' as we call it, they stay inside all the time as they do at home. I have a far bit of camping experience both in tents and caravans and am a experienced and confident towing. I tow with a honda Crv 2.0l Awd Petrol. The site is tucked away down a farm track, in a quite field which slopes, I did need leveling blocks. I walked down via footpath and local lanes to the coast path and walked to Porthleven. I went to the Falmouth Packet inn locally and had lovey meal and drink. The site is basic with a fresh water tap, chemical disposal point and bins for recycling and rubbish. It was lovely quite, and dark only the owls to hear. Would return in the future. thanks Jon

A real CL

This attraction of this CL is location. Yes the track is sometimes muddy as well as bumpy. The site slopes (although unlike a previous reviewer, we have never found that a problem providing you have a decent ramp). The star feature is the access to the many dog walks and footpaths which lead to the empty natural beaches and coastal footpath. The owners are always pleasant and welcoming. This is one of our favourite UK sites and we will regularly return to this wonderful location.

Great expectations, however....

We and our motorhome arrived around about 5pm and had a very nice reception from the owners. This is a working farm and therefore the long bumpy driveway was not unexpected. Unfortunately our troubles started immediately we tried to find a position that was even close to level. This site is on a two-way sloping field which, even with the use of levelling ramps, did not allow us to get the 'van' level. This meant that our heating system did not work for the first night. We had better luck on our return the second night, occupying a pitch that had been vacated, but the 'van' still could not be levelled. I noted that even the three 'hard-standing' pitches were sloping. The grass on the site was not mown, the black water site was disgusting and the fresh water tap had no hose or connector. We did not stay for our final night. This year I have stayed at a number of sites and have always left positive reviews, but on this occasion sadly that is not possible. A great location with much potential, which if realised would make this a great place to visit.

Message from The Club:

Thank you for your review. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your time in the area. We regret to hear, however, that you did not feel the quality of the site as up to standard. I'm sorry you were unable to level your van the hard standings are to be improved this winter. We do cut the grass on site regularly in summer but it is left longer in winter. The waste water area is checked regularly, and we will be replacing the wooden fence that hides the area this winter. The fresh water tap does not have a hose as this is not allowed by the Caravan Club. We would welcome you to contact us directly if you wish to discuss your experience in further detail.

Wifi was great.

For a site that has very few facilities we were amazed that the wifi worked and was a good signal. Better than caravan club sites to be honest.  The owners were nice friendly farmers.  Path from the farm goes to Marazion.  Nice and quiet site, we enjoyed our stay.

Another great week here

Our 3rd visit on this lovely CL. Once again we had a great reception from Donald and Anita, what a nice couple they are. Donald took pains to explain some of the workings of the farm, he is proud of his workbench!! The teeming wild life was abundant as usual and the bird life was fantastic with nest building going on all round. The owls were vociferous as usual. We went through some awful weather but still found plenty to do. Thank you for having us Donald and Anita and really look forward to our next visit

A Great CL

How refreshing to stay on a proper working Dairy Farm. The owners were very friendly and helpful, my wife was taken ill at the end of our stay and they were more than happy to allow us to stop an extra day even though they were fully booked, explaining to new arrivals the reason for the 6 units. The site is very quiet with only the sound of Owls for company in the evenings and is a dream for stargazers with no light pollution at all. There is a little hut with details of local interest and a selection of books to loan if you feel like a read, for the more energetic there are precise details of 2 local cliff top walks that can be undertaken from the site. There is wifi connection now for those that cannot live without there gadgets but leave them alone and gust enjoy the sounds of the birds and a working farm. Would we return --most certainly.

Brilliant cl

Please don't be put off by the previous reviewer - this is after all a working dairy farm - so yes there are cows here and yes the owners are farmers so yes they are not always around but the house is next to the site so you can call and speak to them when they are there. Yes to get wifi is a little difficult but you have to be close to the farmhouse to connect - come on we are in the middle of a field after all!. We have just spent a week here and it is a beautifully quiet and peaceful site - all you can hear is the birdsong and NO traffic noise - wonderful!! Take a birdfeeder and you will be delighted by the variety and number of birds that will visit including woodpeckers. I would highly recommend this site and we will certainly visit again.
