Booked this site to visit our property in Portsmouth and really liked the spot. Very warm welcome and lovely view out over the Solent. If you are self-contained then this is one of the places to be, not far off the busy M27 but out of all the congestion. The pitch was big enough for our motorhome and the car as we needed to travel between the site, Portsmouth and Southampton - 30 mins in either direction when out of rush hour. Our only problem was turning up to the wrong site in the first place (both are owned by the same family), however we were told that we weren't the first and certainly not the last. In conclusion all we can say is don't just think of this site as a stop over for the ferry crossing.
