This is an immaculately kept site, peaceful with a feel of being away from everything but near to motorway links if you want to get out & about. Frank & his daughter Kay are lovely people & could not have been more helpful, The lane leading to the site is rough but we managed with our American 5th wheel so don't be put off. Thanks for a lovely stay.
A lovely site
A lovely site always kept nice the owner's are so helpful. Visited 3 times this year nice base to visit our grandson in stubbington
Lovely site!
OK we have been here 3 times this year. Don't be put off by the approach track, yes you really are going down a dirt track, its right at the end on the left! But what a well run site. White board not only tells you who and where you are sited but also the cruise liners going past! Dead flat, well laid out, everything is marked. Ideal for ferries but do BOOK its very popular. We were well entertained by green woodpeckers foraging for food. We loved it.
Great stopover
Used this site as a stopover before catching ferry from Portsmouth. Easy access and good pitches on hard standing. All nicely kept and tidy. An easy half hour drive to the port. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Lovely site
Just returned from a week stay. You could not wish for a better site, which is quiet and maticulously maintained. Lovely views over the Solent. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and would not hesitate to go again.
Excellent site
Easy to find and get too. Your name is on a board at the entrance with your pitch number, pop payment through the door!
Lovely clean, tidy and well laid out site. Easy walk to the Solent and beyond.
Quiet and relaxing
Booked this site to visit our property in Portsmouth and really liked the spot. Very warm welcome and lovely view out over the Solent. If you are self-contained then this is one of the places to be, not far off the busy M27 but out of all the congestion. The pitch was big enough for our motorhome and the car as we needed to travel between the site, Portsmouth and Southampton - 30 mins in either direction when out of rush hour. Our only problem was turning up to the wrong site in the first place (both are owned by the same family), however we were told that we weren't the first and certainly not the last.
In conclusion all we can say is don't just think of this site as a stop over for the ferry crossing.

Good ferry stopover
Stopped here for a couple of nights before catching a ferry. Good location, albeit along a narrow unadopted lane with passing places. Walk from site to the Solent, bus from the end of the lane to Pompey and Southampton.
A brilliant CL to stay at
We recently stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The site is very well looked after and the owner was very friendly. Although we have had a lot of rain the gravel pitches were free of puddles and mud and very level. The facilities were easy to use and we had no complaints at all.
There are a lot of pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance and not very far if you want to go to Southsea for the day.
