A lovely site which we found when looking for a one night stopover prior to and after our ferry to Spain. Owners are delightful and very welcoming and reserved a special easy pitch for us. the views from this site are wonderful and the site is maintained to a very high standard. I am about to book this site again for the same reason. Unfortunately, we don't live in the South otherwise we would definitely be using this site for many trips throughout the year.
Peaceful and well situated
This site is ideal for us visiting relatives nearby. The approach road is narrow and not tarmaced but no problem for our motorhome and tow car, don't be put off!
The owners were welcoming and helped us find alternative facilities when they were fully booked and we wanted an extra night in the area.
Very handy for Southampton and Portsmouth, nice pubs in the village and the site is dog friendly, all we could ask for really, hope to return soon.
Good cl
Our first time at this cl and it proved to be a good experience. The site itself is excellent, quiet, with nice view and good clean hard standings. What makes it special for us is the endless amount of footpaths, especially good for dog walking, and the bus service at the end of the lane giving easy access to Southampton, Portsmouth and Fareham, or you can change at Fareham for other routes, excellent for motorhomers. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet site with easy access to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard area
We stayed here for two nights 1st - 3rd October 2018. It was so easy to book and access our pitch even though we were a little late arriving having spent the afternoon up the wonderful Spinnaker Tower in the afternoon! A very helpful name board at the entrance to the site showed we were allocated pitch 5. Such a lovely quiet and relaxing little site with a lovely view down to the Solent. And it was perfectly located for our 3-day visit to Portsmouth Harbour which was fantastic. We enjoyed our short break so much we'll be back again soon. Thank you Carefree Nurseries!

Fantastic CL site
We have been staying fairly regularly on this site as we are looking for a home in the area. Frank, Kay & Dave are so friendly & always make our stay welcoming & accommodating. The site is kept immaculately clean & tidy & they work hard to maintaining a high standard. The views over to the Isle of Wight & Solent are great. It’s an easy walk down to the foreshore (just over a mile each way) with surrounding farmland. It’s easy access off the M27 motorway at Fareham junction 9 turn off at Whiteley.
We’ve met some really nice & friendly people on this site & will have many happy memories. 👍🤗
Little site big view
We stayed here 16/09/2018. So glad we found this little site with a big view! Yes there is a surrounding hedge but my husband (6ft & myself 5'2 tall) could see the view beyond & with our binoculars watched many cruise & sailing ships go by on the Solent. It is probably the most peaceful site we have stayed at, and the pitches & grounds are immaculately maintained. We were given a very warm welcome from the owners daughter. We will defiantly be coming back. Thank you Carefree Nurseries.
Wonderful site
Stayed here many times. So peaceful & quiet. Wonderful! Immaculately kept CL. The grass & the surrounding areas are maintained to a very high standard. The Owners are very friendly & helpful. They even rake the hardstandings when the pitch has been vacated before the next arrival. All the site amenities are easily accessible & they are also kept immaculate. Amazing views of the Solent & the Isle of Wight - this year especially during Cowes Week when we were able to view the Red Arrows & the 3 Queens sailing down the Solent from the comfort of our own van. Portsmouth & Southampton within easy distance as are numerous beautiful small villages, beaches, restaurants & pubs.

Very nice site
stayed at this site in Sept 2018. Overall a very nice site & very peacefull. Access is very deceptive with a Sat Nav we ended up the wrong side of the of the access road. However we were guided into the site by phone thanks to the lovely lady who welcomed us to the site. The site access is at the bottom of a bumpy private single track dirt road that also serves several houses & farm buildings. The residential traffic on this road are very good at giving way to Motorhomes & caravans. We have only one complaint about the site if you are allocated pitch No 5 the space is very tight for an awning if you have a continental van with the van door on the Right. Other wise a great site nice people lots to do & see. Woulld recommend that the site hold local attraction pamphlets from the local tourist information office would be a great help in plannng days out.

Shocked 😮
I was shocked to read a review which we know to be very untrue & unfair to have been written about Carefree Nurseries as for grass & mud to have been over campers vans we have never known this to happen in all the times we have stayed here & mud never 😮 not even in the winter, we have pay £14 but it increased to £15 end of 2017 no complaints there 😀 worth every penny & more views can be seen of the Isle of Wight & Ocean Linners passing pending weather,
Frank & his daughter Kay are so pleasant & friendly every time your here which makes your time spent very special the site is always kept clean & tidy & is in extremely good order, there are many places of intrest to visit Southampton,Portsmouth,Winchester,Salisbury, & the New Forest are all great days out while on your stay & are easy to travel to as motorway is only mins from CL.

Not entirely happy with this cl
Early this year I booked this cl, upon booking I asked the price and was told £14 per night. When I arrived the notice in the porch said £15 per night there was no one about to query this so I pitched up. The following morning someone from the cl arrived so i informed him about the price I was quoted, he said that was not so as the price had been £15 for over a year, I know what I was told. In future when I book a cl I will have to ask for confirmation of the price in writing or via e-mail.
Secondly the picture shows a lovely view over the Solent, this is not the view you get sat inside or outside your caravan, the view is a hedge.
Thirdly when we went out one day the grass had been cut and the front of the caravan was splattered wth grass and mud, and not just a little bit.
