We arived here on 22/7/2024 until 26/7/2024 . Looked lovely at first site ,beautiful lawned area at the front ,we knocked at the door to ask where to go and was told anywhere and that was the first and last time we seen them .
First night we were inundated with flies and i mean there was lots . We had to go out and find some fly spray and zapper.
At one time there was about 20 in the van and constantly comeing in when door was opened .
On the second night we found these earwigs everywhere about 30 in the van they must have been getting in through the vents ,next night they were everywhere, we have never experienced this before . The bins were overflowing and this was over the back of us and we were there four nights . We went there to withernsea and the first night there we were still finding them in the van until my husband cleaned everything out of the van We wont return
Nice stay
Visited here for 9 nights. Loved seeing the bats and the swallows.
Lovely stay and very peaceful. You're met by their 2 lovely dogs; one being a German Sheppard called Ruby. Don't be alarmed by her barking as she is the most sweetest and friendliest dog... so much so, we got escorted to our caravan and she even double checked that everything was okay by coming into the caravan lol.
The toilet and shower was very clean and were off a corridor adjacent to the house entrance.
All in all a very nice stay. Close to Skegness, Gunby Hall (NT) and Gibralter Point but very quiet on site. We were made very welcome.

Peaceful, friendly & clean
Just got back from a week at this wonderful site. This was our second visit as we had a week last summer.
This lovely CL is on a very quiet backroad but only 5 minutes from Skegness.
The site is lovely & peaceful & very clean & tidy. The toilet & showers are clean with plenty of hot water available.
The owners are really friendly & helpful & make you feel very welcome.
Security on site is great as most of the time Ruby the German Shepard is running free & barks to let people know when someone is around but don’t be put off by this as you won’t find a friendlier dog she loves lots of fuss & is great with people of all ages. Also there are lots of cats running around so there are no rodent issues on this site.
We will definitely be going back next year for a week maybe 2 as it’s such a good site.
Well worth a look if you are going to stay in the Skegness area.
Great little find
Stayed on this site for 3 nights at the end of August 2019 with our 2 two grandsons. The site is very easy to find and access is straight forward. There is a small grass area next to the bungalow which has a few hook ups on it and they have a larger area round the back also with hook ups. We chose to pitch round the back as it is more private away from the road ( although the road does not have much traffic ) we were sheltered by the barn and the nicely kept hedge, a proper little sun trap. Site is about 5 mins drive to Skegness, although you never tell from the quiet location. Owners do have a lovely German Shepherd dog which we knew from previous reviews and the owner also made us aware of this when we booked. The dog is so friendly, my Grandsons loved playing with her. They have a shower and toilet but cannot comment on these as we used our caravan facilities. Although not the largest CL site we have stopped on, we are so pleased to have found this peaceful little one and will definitely return .

We have just spent the last few days at this site and it was peaceful
The site was very easy to access and very, very well looked after
The owners are very nice and helpful.
We are definitely going back .
We are very impressed.
Thank you
Friendly welcoming and relaxing
First time on this cl, won't be the last, some of the reviews for this site are dodgy or even offensive, 2 German Shepard dogs that are soft and friendly, no hint of biting or aggression.Owners go the extra distance to accommodate. Pony and 2 sheep pals got to be seen. Toilet and shower clean, I don't smoke the previous review with the smoking health warning I think someone's nose is too close to their arse.
If Carlsberg did CL's
remembering why we liked CLs so much
This was our first trip out in a caravan for about eight years (we gave it up due to pressures of work). Two nights on this site reminded us of why we used to enjoy CLs so much. this is a really good one. Nice site, lovely welcoming/helpful hosts. Quirky in the best possible way (watching the horse going to the field in the morning accompanied by his two sheep mates is essential entertainment). Great site for dogs. Enjoy!
home from home !
We have been visiting this site for at least 10 yrs we bring our 3 girls our two dogs one of which is rather large German Shepard cross, we have never had any problems with the owners or there animals...dogs all seem to get on very well !
Pauline and Phillip are very helpful and have a range of knowledge of the area, site is alway clean and tidy shower and toilet clean and tidy also.
I would have no problem recommending this site as very friendly people.
Health Warning?
This site should have a health warning. The owner is a very heavy smoker. You have to go into the house door to get to the toilet and shower and it nearly chokes you. We got used to the dogs but the smell of smoke has really put us off going again.

Friendly people nice site.
The people are really nice ( sorry forgot their names ) they have two very friendly German Shepards, one is a bit noisy as it gets to know you I think his name was Zak, and the girl is very friendly and is called sheena, you will hear the owner telling them to be quiet as soon as they bark.
If you don't like dogs ignore them, once they've had a sniff they will ignore you, our eldest daughter played with them for ages throwing balls and sticks, our dogs a bit boring and doesn't play those games.
The site is part of a working farm I presume as there are tractors etc, the site is lovely and flat, and offers nice views, there's a busy road near by so f you don't want to hear cars park round the back.
We broke down whilst there and the owner helped me sort it in his extensive garage!
Would recommend this to anyone, ignore the previous rating in regards to dogs, I just find it very difficult to believe!
