Quiet site

We loved this site ,very quiet , close to all that Bude offers , never used the car and plenty of walks for the dog . Only down side the approach road is very narrow, thank goodness nothing came the other way . THIS WILL NOT stop us revisiting, loved it great location .

Excellent CL

We only stayed two nights at this relatively new CL but this was not by choice - it was because it was fully booked - a testament if ever there was one as to how good it is. Although the site is sloping, all the pitches are perfectly level with plenty of room for car, caravan and awning. Easy access onto a disused railway line and/or canal towpath for dog walking or to get into Bude. Sadly, we didn't get to meet the owners but Amy had already contacted us and told us she would be away. Couple of minor points to consider - the last half mile to the site is very narrow but luckily we didn't meet anything and secondly, departure time is 1000 hrs - found this in the 'other information' section on the CAMC website. Perhaps an information sheet on arrival might help. Great site though and we will try and get in again later in the year and hopefully stay longer. Thanks.

Tranquil

Lovely location , well laid out pitches, friendly welcome from Carol , Amy's mum. 30 minutes walk into Bude along the country lane as the canal walk was a bit muddy this time of year. Enjoyed our 3 night stay here.

Delightful Site

Stayed on this excellent CL for four nights in early autumn and enjoyed the walks from the site into Bude and surrounding area. As motorhomers we appreciated the hard standings especially after recent stormy and wet weather.

Pitch perfect!

Just spent three nights at this lovely CL. A warm welcome from Amy to this clean, tidy, impressively well organised site. Can't think how it could possibly be improved, and with such easy access into Bude too. The walk into town along the canal path was lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.

Excellent site

Just spent nine nights on this lovely site. Lovely welcome from Amy. The hard standings are level and staggered for greater privacy. The site very quiet and peaceful with Bude approximately one mile away along a flat cycle path. The site is very clean and very well maintained. We would recommend this site

Lovely Site

We are Motorhomers and have just spent a few nights on this site. We live in Cornwall so had a relatively short journey to get there, but it was easy to find and is a very quiet and well appointed site. All pitches are hard standing and have EHU points. Pitches 1 & 2 have their own water supply and the owners are very friendly and helpful . There is a very pleasant flat walk into Bude which has a good beach and seawater swimming pool and many things to occupy all age groups. As the site is open all year we plan another break there before the end of the year.

Ideal for weekend break

We live in the west country and enjoy using local club sites for one or two night weekend breaks. This newly listed cl site proved a real find when we visited over the first weekend in August - it is thoughtfully laid out with plenty of space between each pitch, consisting of a mix of hardstanding and grass. The owners were welcoming and friendly, offering advice on how to get into Bude using traffic free footpaths and bike trails - just 20 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by bike. The site has pleasant countryside views and was nice and quiet even during peak holiday season, yet it is easy to access the coast and beaches of Bude and/or shops, restaurants etc. within the town itself. We look forward to further visits in the future.
