Superb view. We pitched against the hedge looking over the clifftop and sea. There is a gate which takes you down to the long sandy beach in 2 minutes. We walked along the beach then found a path back up and walked back through Bacton. We perhaps didn't see the best part. We only managed an overnight stop due to last minute holiday so didn't explore the local area more fully.
Very good communications with Tom, the host, who met us soon after arrival. We were happy with the basic facilites provided, it is all about the location and view.
A fabulous CL
We have had an amazing two week holiday at Buttercup Meadow. The site is just a 5 minute stroll from an amazing sandy beach with walks in both directions. The site is very well maintained. If you enjoy the sound of the sea and peace and quiet then this site is the best. Thank you Tom for a truly relaxing stay. Paul and Janet Senior.
Definitely a little gem!
If you are happy with basic sites then this is for you!
Plenty of room for 5 units so you'll not feel crowded.
Really quiet and tranquil, the only noise is nature and the sea.
A sandy beach is only 5 minutes away and a perfect dog walking area.
Cafes, pubs and takeaways all within walking distance.
They are perfect hosts and I'll definitely consider going back again.
So close to the beach!
Had the most wonderful holiday at Buttercup Meadow in August 2022!
Quiet and relaxing.
You can see the sea if you pitch at the top end of the massive this meadow!
Lovely walks to Walcott one way along the beach and to Mundesley the other.
So good, have booked again for July this year!
Spot on spot!
We had 3 nights here. Tom was very welcoming. The site was immaculate and only had 4 of us on it in total so very quiet. About 2 minutes from a lovely, dog friendly beach and around 15 minutes to walk into Walcott for cafe, shop and ice cream.
Great place if you want a no faff, quiet stay.

So close to the best beach in England a wonderfully no amusement arcade or kiss me quick hats just miles of golden sand a reminder our the beaches were so many years ago enjoying the sand and sea.
We will be back

Superb CL
What a super location.Just home from a week here.Plenty of space, very clean and well run.Tom visits new arrivals and is very pleasant and helpful.Short walk to the beach which wasn't too busy while I was there.People on the site and around were very helpful and friendly.I shall definitely come again.
Simply the best
There are so many positive reviews for Buttercup Meadow I shan’t repeat them all but endorse every one of them.
Staying here is a wonderful experience only marred by having to call an emergency ambulance to the site. Leaving my wife alone and not knowing when I will be back was very worrying and stressful. We need not have worried. Tom, the owner, was so very helpful and supportive to my wife in my absence as were other guests on the site.
Tom even offered for us to leave the caravan on site if necessary or, indeed, for him to move it to another local location on our behalf. Absolutely amazing support at a very stressful time for us both. We can’t thank him enough. We were very sad to leave but will be back! Thanks, Tom, and the other guests present who may read this review.

really good site
Buttercup meadow is a lovely site......peaceful and large enough to not be on top of one another.
You may need levelling ramps and as yet there are no hard standings but these are minor things. The proximity of the wonderful beach, several cafes,a chinese take away,a fish and chip shop....it is a hidden haven and Thomas is a pleasant chap too! Eden garage opposite the Sugar and Spice cafe were very obliging when our motorhome developed a leaky oil filter!
