A great CL

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a dog show in the local area. Nigel, the site owner, was very welcoming and happy to accomodate us with our 3 rough collies. His dog Mickey provided some entertainment for them as well. Very easy to find/access and a beautiful location with great views. The cows in the neighbouring field all came running over to meet us when we arrived. Several pubs within a short walk. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Fantastic views

The views are fantastic from the cl. We have a motorhome and the hard standing Was a real bonus. We are national trust members so found the LocalPlacesOfInterest great for visiting quarry bank mill About 10 miles Tatton park and hall 8 miles And Dunham Massey 4 miles. Highly recommend The only downside we felt the price at £14 was a little Expensive as no toilet or showers.

A hidden gem

During our stay here the owners laid a hardstanding area which was very welcome due to the heavy rainfall and the fact we were in a motorhome. The view from the field is a superb panorama from Winter Hill to the Pennines which you don't expect on arrival. The owners Nigel and Janet were very welcoming and accommodating. Very peaceful location and yet only a 2 minute walk from a great store/post office and pub with a large garden. The village of Lymm is also a short walk away. It's also on a bus route and only a mile from the Trans Pennine trail and Bridgewater canal which leads to nearby Dunham Massey. I would highly recommend this site if you are planning to visit this area.
