I found the site easy to book onto and the owners pleasant and friendly. The information was accurate and instructive. Unfortunately the sat nav, even the caravan club ones took us to the wrong place, not the owners fault as they did state this to us. Owners were kind enough to keep us informed of events, for example, the electricity board cut power to the site, no big deal but was handy as we could take steps. Yes, there were pot holes on the approach to the site making the approach “interesting”but not really an issue if you take your time. The site is well maintained and tidy. If I am to be hyper critical, the pitches were a little narrow, leaving some to park cars on the well maintained grass. ( which contained a lovely set of table and chairs).However we were able to park in front of our van and the road was wide enough for farm vehicles to pass with ease. Farm vehicles passed regularly, but not a distraction at all. It is a working farm, so you have to expect some disruption. The railway is hardly a distraction. The facilities are kept meticulously clean and the surrounding areas tidy with flowerbeds and very pleasant. Well situated and serves well as a base or centre of relaxation. Well worth a visit.
