Fantastic.

Visited first time in late September 2021 and had a wonderful time, lots of sunshine so we returned deepest winter for Christmas 2022 and still loved it even with the rain, Had all our winter coats so never got wet or cold, we went for a Christmas eve meal at Beckland Lodge which is about a 1 1/2 miles away, very tasty indeed. Thank you David & Julia so much for making this one of our favorite sites. See you again in 2023. (for some more Jam)

Worthy winners of the 2022 CL of the year.

We arrived on site with our name and pitch number clearly marked on a board by the site entrance. David arrived quickly with a warm welcome, giving us site information. The very well tended grass pitches are staggered so units are not blocking the views from the hard standings. Each pitch was all service, Julia had sanitised the taps before our arrival. We stayed for a fortnight during plenty of rain but amazingly the pitch drained very quickly and was not at all soft. Although we used our own shower, theirs looked very clean and tidy. There were many books and dvds to borrow and local jams and chutney for sale in the amenity hut. Rural views, lovely sunrise and sunsets. Both David and Julia were extremely friendly and had lots of information on the local area. We have no hesitation in recommending this site and would love to return, it is very easy to see why they won 2022 CL of the Year.

An OASIS in Norfolk

We are Norfolk people and stumbled on this site for a short end of season visit close to home… on leaving home we called the Site and Julia said there was room for us and pitch three, (hard standing), would be ours for our stay; she said the Site was a fully serviced Site on all pitches and the rate would be just £20 per night - no extras. There were exclusive facilities on Site and unusually for many, Sites in Norfolk anyway, dogs were welcome. Too good to miss we thought and travelled straight there and that’s when we realised that ‘too good to miss’ was an understatement… first class doesn’t do the hard work and outlay justice in any way. We headed for our pitch and was soon joined by a beaming Julia who explained that David and her had just come back from a stay in Birmingham collecting the 2022 award. They were right to be proud of the award and we were lucky to stumble on the site… the problem is that this Site is now going to become so well supported that I think such a fortunate last minute visit might be much harder, if not impossible, to come by. Good luck to you both, David & Julia, we know you’ll be a tad busier now the news of your well deserved win has gone viral. Mike, Linda and Sebby the Cockerpoo.

CL of the year 2022 Congratulations

CL of the Year 2022 and deservedly so, congratulations to you both. Stayed on this site for 4 nights, on arrival the first thing that came to mind was WOW. This site is fantastic. The way that David and Julia have laid out the site is excellent. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into this CL. All 5 pitches are very spacious, 3 being hard standings which are perfectly level and easy to get onto. All pitches have a lovely view of farmland and beyond. The grass on site is immaculate. There is a very well constructed toilet and shower cabin, plenty of room. Included within the cabin is information and local produce for sale. Both David and Julia are lovely, very welcoming and passionate for ensuring their guests have a lovely holiday and that we most certainly did. So much to do in the area from walking to visiting attractions. There is going to be one problem! getting booked up for our next visit, get in early folks this is the top CL. Best of luck Martin & Mandy

Great site

A warm welcome from the owner to this beautifully organised and maintained site. Spacious, level pitches and spotlessly clean facilities. Booking dealt with efficiently and promptly. A great site with everything you need. Good cycling and walking and easy access to a good range of shops. Butcher in Attleborough worth a visit.

Broadmarsh Farm - Hits the spot

Broadmarsh Farm situated a couple of miles west of Attleborough in the village of Great Ellingham is a full facilities CL with serviced pitches. The site and its facilities are immaculate and a credit to the owners. Telephone signal EE is very good same with radio reception. Have no idea about TV. As I understand it the CL will be open during the winter giving access to the 3 hard standing pitches. Attleborough has a Sainsbury's and Lidl supermarkets, lots of cafes pubs etc. The church is worth a visit, lots of POI’s in the vicinity Road works - There are major roadworks on the A11 just North of the Attleborough turning lasting for nearly 6 miles. If approaching from the South you will turn off before reaching the works. These roadworks are due to be completed in the Summer of 2023.

A fantastic 5 nights spent here, left us feeling disappointed to be going home!

On arrival at the gate we saw our name written on a blackboard with the pitch number showing us where to go. We were on one of the three hardstandings which were perfectly level so didn't even need levelling blocks! After setting up our caravan we were greeted by David from the site. He was so helpful and explained everything about the site etc. All the pitches have their own water tap so can be plumbed directly into your van or aquaroll. There is a beautiful building housing a toilet, washbasin and shower at one end and also has a large sink, and a fridge in the other end along with a very informative notice board and various leaflets and ideas for places to visit and places to eat. Inside the fridge there was bacon & sausages which can be purchased. Also available are eggs, sweets and an excellent selection of jams and preserves. We also met Julia on various visits to the site and was always asked if there was anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back and would like to thank Julia and David for putting in so much effort. Gary & Helen Wilson.

Just Perfect!

What a find this CL is. For us it is perfectly located for visiting family, which is why we initially booked it, but now we’re onsite, we’re so impressed with the site owners and facilities. It’s immaculately kept with EHU & water on each pitch. There’s even a lovely shower & washing up facilities if you don’t have/want to use your own onboard facilities. Some larger sites could learn from this CL. The welcome we received from Julia was lovely. We will definitely be staying here again & again! 3 nights are not long enough, we could do with a couple of weeks just to unwind in such a beautiful & tranquil location.

Peaceful and relaxing

We have just spent 8 nights on this great CL.Everything was perfect, easy access on to a level roomy pitch, excellent washroom and information area. if you think of what you need on a CL then it is here. There is plenty to do in the area,,and lots of good places to eat..One of the nicest things was meeting Dave and Julia, who take great pride in their site.Dave is very appreciative of all feedback and takes pleasure in knowing that his visitors are happy. As caravanners they have put all the things they like on a site , here for us to enjoy and have made it into such a lovely place .They deserve to be successful , after all their hard work. Looking forward to when we can return. B&M

Lovely CL

Very spacious and lovingly looked after CL. Julia and David are very friendly and helpful hosts and are to be commended on creating such a well kept site. Great place to chill and enjoy the big blue Norfolk skies and watch the buzzards soaring overhead. Well situated for cycling around the network of quiet country roads. All in all a great site, so much so that we booked a return visit before we left!
