4 nights at Brickley Wood

A great site with lots of space on a long stretch of grass facing woodland and in our case an owl box with a family of little owls. We parked sideways on a slope which might be a challenge for some motorhomes. There are 2 hard standing pitches on the track at the back of the CL which looked level. There were 5 vans on site during our stay and space for more. We overshot the CL to the better signed Hall Farm CL the other side of the farmhouse. The Brickley Wood sign, which is not a CAMC sign, was obscured by the hedge. There are some nice walks and cycle rides to be had from the site and only 10 minutes away are regular 34/35/36 bus services from King’s Lynn. All go to Hunstanton with the 35 coming via Sandringham and the 36 going well beyond along the coast to Wells and then inland to Walsingham and Fakenham. We picked up a timetable on one of the busses. On one day we walked along the Beach Road to Snettersham Beach which was a bit scrappy and the Snettersham RSPB reserve which overlooks the southernmost coastal lagoon. We had refreshments on the way there and back at The Granary on the edge of Snettersham village which was OK. The Old Store in the centre of Snettersham looked good but we didn’t use it.
