Lovely Stay

This an excellent site for exploring Anglesey, it's also easy to get to as its not far from the A55, so would be a good stop over for the Irish Ferry. Each pitch is hard standing, we didn't put up an awning but, as usual with hard standing, rock pegs are needed. There's a fresh water tap on each pitch and waste water outlet, also recycling and waste bins which are emptied regularly. We received very good instructions via email of the directions to site and which pitch we were on, also recommendations of grocery shops, restaurants and cafes. Electricity is charged extra but this was not much for us even though we used our own shower and did have the heating on as it was a bit cold in the mornings. We therefore, did not use the showers or toilets but they looked very clean and tidy. One thing that was excellent for us was that the pitches are very sheltered as we experienced Storm Agnes, we've been in high winds before on exposed sites and it's not pleasant, we didn't feel the storm at all this time. Anglesey is a beautiful Island and, even though we've been many times before and the weather this time wasn't great, we found lots to do and really enjoyed our visit, we can definitely recommend the Transport Museum nextdoor, it's very interesting. We will definitely be back to this site as it ticks lots of boxes for us.
